- battery life bar is very miss leading as whn it shows that it has half battery bar (2 bars left out of the 4) the phone only has a couple of hours left till it is completly flat (stand by time) were as you think it has at least a day left in it. other than that the battery life lasts for a good amount of time. the phone does not have as many of functions as some other phones e.g no games etc

+ It's a great phone, fantastic design, a better version of the LG chocolate

- Getting used to the touch-screen

+ the weight is perfect, much lighter than any other phones i have had. also the design of the on screen buttons is perfect. i can easily type and dial numbers with my thumb. another point is that it doesnt stick out when in a jean pocket and looks propa nice when your playing with it or on a call.

- the touch screen fades after use a fair few times. its also not very durable when with other things in a pocket, e.g coins or a lighter. one fatal point is its supplied with a pen/stick but there is no specific place to put it where as on a PDA you can slide it into the side. i know it attaches via a string at the top left of the phone but it then becomes very irritating when holding the phone or texting.

+ it looks good and has an amazing camera

- its hard to get used to touch screen but once u do its really to use

+ Amazing phone with amazing camera, easy to use and clear menus. Navigation and texting is really easy. There is four ways to text, and despite the actual touch writing being near impossible to use, the speed with the stylus is fantastic. It is expandable to a 2GB card so 500 songs available and inbox is capacble of storing 300 messages so more than enough if you ask me. Cheeky feature I thought was most fun was the picture editing. It is like a cut down version of "MS Paint" on your phone to doodle and draw on yall you favourite or least fave piks :D:D great laugh. Navigation couldn't be easier to. with very clear menus. Overall its an amazing phone and i would never change it!!!

- Only a few themes available so limited changes can be made but in honesty the themes avaliable are fun.
Shock reduction is only good if your moving slightly, i think my pictures come out better with shock reduction off, the shock reduction cannot function properly if you move fast.
Battery life is awful i charge atleast once every two days
Stylus broke in a few days of getting it and i look after my phones i have a cover foir it which is reccommended as the camera sticks out a fair bit and is a major risk of scratches

+ Camera is very god quality and the viewing of photos is also easy.

- Touch screen can get quite scratched and camera lens is uncovered so you need to be careful if you just throw your phone in your bag!

- bad battery life, says low battery- most phones hold out a bit longer, this goes in like 3 minutes. nothing special about it, not modernised enough for todays technology. Could of made it so much better- just a standard phone from about 3 years ago- but with a good camera...could make it more fun to use- have more themes available other than black, white, and fish. To be honest i think this phone is over rated A LOT. i read reviews before i got it, a few bad ones but i thought id still go for it, wish i didnt now!

- nothing, apart from the texting because it is fairly tricky as it has no erase button so if you make a mistake you have to start over again.

+ Pretty much everything is good about the phone, it is easy to use looks good and does what it says on the box.

- The only bad thing about the phone is the Handwriting Recognition. It really does struggle sometimes

- not so good on the navagation i.e finding your way round the phone scrolling down and up virtually impossible unless u know how

- Bad ringtones. Touchscreen begins to stick so you constantly have to press option for it to cmoe open even though it vibrates. The little touch stick is no good and you need small fingers to type. Doesnt always pickup the letters you have inputted into a text.

+ Ease of use, especially messaging, brilliant camera, excellent MP3 playback, beautiful design.

- Jog wheel around the lens is on the wrong side of the device whether using as a camera or scrolling menus. The lens lacks a protective cover, and battery life is not good.

+ The good thing about this product is the touch screen, it's so easy to use. One of the other things I like is the stand-by button at the side, seems to save the battery life. It has a very easy to read screen and a very good camera and video.

+ the video is first class and the music is good, the camra is ok as long as the subject doesent move

- its very hard if not impossible to, use on the p.c i cant get the contacts or the messages up on the p.c. and to open the files on the phone i have to take the card out the memory slot on the phone which is very annoying.

+ Easy to navigate, very clear screen, excellent camera, very reliable.

- Battery life scores low. Lock feature activates too quickly.

+ I like the look of the phone and I couldn't ask for more in terms of it's facilities. The camera is of a reasonable quality and simple to use. I think the pointer that comes with the phone is essiential and am extreeley glad the phone arrived with one!

- If I use the camera or games frequently, the battery doesn't last as long as i would like, I have purchased an additional battery in order to try to combat this issue. The freehand texting facility is a good idea in theory but it often doesn't recognise letters so is easier to use the touch key pad.

+ Overall I am delighted with my Viewty, particularly the facilty of Bluetooth, which is really useful whilst Driving, Safe & Positive. Its Spec' in General is excellent, but being a pay as you go customer I do not think I will be using it for e-mail or web browsing purposes.

- I would have hoped for a better software package, I feel the disc provided is somewhat lacking, this is purely my own opinion, perhaps I am expecting too much. Is there an update for this software?
The only other thing I would pass comment on, is the lack of a Lens Cover for the Camera.

+ Not much to recommend it - that I like anyway. My son has one and is not that impressed either. I got mine as a free upgrade - not a good choice.

- Fiddly phone. Synch software is absolutely useless. Locks too quickly. Doesn't handle music files well. Menus are challenging. Battery life is good as long as you don't make calls. has to be positioned exactly right to hear. Volume and zoom are fiddly. Micro SD limited to 2GB. Screen needs protection and is then insensitive to finger control.

+ Overall, the LG Viewty is a 'must-have' phone. everything about it is just awesome! the camera is just brilliant, u can pretty much do anything with it.

- The only real bad point about the LG Viewty is its battery life, it is really poor. I would expect that a phone that has all fancy party pieces on would also have a battery to sustain the life at the party. If someone creates a battery that lasts longer than the current one, i will buy it.

+ Excellent camera. good organiser. good for music and all in a smart looking unit. Lots been said about poor battery life but I haven't noticed that, except that once battery life bars begin to go, it's not long before they've all gone (bit like England's batsmen really)

- Navigation can be tricky. If you're on the phone listening to options, by the time you have to select one you can be sure that the keypad has locked and gone away.

+ Great camera with the option of expandable memory. Nice touchscreen. A good looking phone.

- Turns itself off at least once a day and needs to have the battery taken out and then put back in to turn back on, which also takes about half a minute. Has very little capacity for songs unless you buy a memory card.

+ none really,apart from camera,and the fact that it does all these fancy things but ill be damned if you can figure out how to do any of them

- cant get my music onto it.internet use expensive and doesnt connect very often,instruction booklet is an absolute joke as it doesnt really tell you anything, it doesnt get a good reception hardly anywhere!!!!!

- Quite a heavy phone and had a bit difficulty getting the software to work on my computer. Takes time to download photos to computer. Would have been better if memery card had been included.

- battery, once it starts to go, although i try not to use it as much it will go quite quickly, otherwise the battery isn't that bad, just when it gets to the last two bars
also the touch screen does take some time, i do text quite quickly, and it doesn't keep, up, this isn't really a bad point as it wouldn't kill me to slow down when i text

- Has very little memory stored on the handset and didn't come with a memory card which I thought was very disappointing as my friend bought the then new Samsung Tocco at the same time as me buying the LG Viewty and he got an 8GB memory card with his handset!

- i got this phone for internet access and i have to say it is useless for this purpose, extremely slow and wont even open my email server.
also, phone signal generally is very iffy.

+ The phone has a camera which is as good as one you would buy in the shop.
Plus, it's a good business phone as it holds a lot of information.

- The battery life is poor! I find that I have to charge it every night. As soon as the battery falls below the full indicator then you have a maximum of one call left before it goes dead.
Also if you are used to texting fast (predictive) then this is not the phone for you, as it can be quite tedious. Other negatives:
It's quite a chunky phone.
No games
No security settings on texts/contacts etc

- Texting is sometimes difficult because you tend to hit the wrong keys being touch screen and close together.

+ touch screen works very well. Like the querty keyboard for texting. camera good. Overall quick and easy to use.

- Quite large. Difficult to switch between using phone and keypad ie if you are being asked to press certain buttons verbally you have to switch back to keypad and the keypad keeps locking out.

- battery life is terrible. Having to charge it every night, so when staying over at friends have no charge come morning!!!!

+ Generally love the phone and it's colour.Great camera and lightweight.

- Main difficulty is scrolling back and forth in the text area and phone book - too fast.
Battery life could do with being longer.
Also could do with ability to store three numbers per person - home number, personal mobile and work number.

+ The phone is surprisingly easy to use. I am not a great fan of text messaging, but now i can do it a lot quicker and its actually fun with this phone. This phone is ideal for those who like to text. The touch screen is responsive and overall the phone is probably one of the best phones i have had to date in terms of ease of use.

- The worst point is the battery life, it is quite simply appalling, especially if you wish to take photographs. Even when not in use the battery needed to be charged everyday. Perhaps i received a faulty battery. I would have given this phone top marks if it wasnt for this. Thankfully the batteries are cheap and accessories for this phone are readily available. I have therefore purchased a few more batteries.

+ Bought for my son - loves the camera and fact he can put music on phone. He has bought a memory card so he can add more songs. Ideal for the younger generation.

- If you tend to go onto the internet quite a bit it'll eat up the battery life very quickly. This phone can only hold 200 text messages and not a lot of pictures/songs/videos unless you buy a memory card.

+ The camera and its zoom capability makes this a great phone to take out all the time as you always have a camera at hand and the fact that you can upload pictures ensures that you can save those memories.
