Apple iPod Shuffle 512MB (1st Gen)

Very small and lightweight.

No screen so no way to select song, which can lead to endless skiping to find a desired track.

Only real problem is that there is no screen, although the memory may not be large enough for some.

Turn it on and forget about it, so simple! I have an iPod Nano too but often use the Shuffle as it smaller and don't have to worry about it while cycling etc.

None to speak of, however a some kind of battery level indicator would have been useful.

Everyone should have one. Simple but great.

As a starter Ipod/MP3 it is very simple to use.

I purchased it for the Great North Run as I was running alone and it couldnt have been better for the job, it was light, comfortable, good sound qaulity, overall it was perfect company. I now use it twice a week when out on runs and have rarely had to charge it.

3 function On/Off slide switch difficult to use, very stiff.

Yet another sound file format, not compatable with other MP3 players.

Sound quality & size really good - ideal for gym, commuting etc...

Battery life not fantastic

Really good product but broke within 3 months, have now got a replacement.

It's stopped working. Going to check battery and software first but it's been ok for the first few months

I love my shuffle, i use it all the time and can't go anywhere without it!!

My iPod shuffle is easy to use and as small as a pack of chewing gum, which makes it ideal as my music companion at the gym. I am never without it.

It can take a while to charge unless you have a high speed USB port or a separate charger.

This purchase has proved to be very good value for money for me.
