Score 9.0/10

sarah, watford , “brand new mum”

+ it is small and compact, fits on belt of trousers and therefore portable, no need to replace batteries as rechargable, can see your baby at night with infrared light, sound to hear baby, easy to use

- quite expensive compared to other products, the monitor cannot fix onto anything so need a ledge to put it on, emits red light so now not a total dark room for baby, sound interference picks up sound if close a door the monitor picks up the sound.

+ fast easy to use clear picture & sound the best product for the job especially the night vision for it was in a dark room.

- none really would have been good to have been able to have had 2 way vocal communication .

- This monitor is awful. The sound quality is extremely poor, it sounds like a toy walkie talkie in terms of clarity, it's very "tinny" and unclear. The picture quality on the video is even worse. You cannot make out anything on it when the room is dark, which is 99% of the time they way it would be used. It uses more heat sensing then infrared so you see only a dark fuzzy blur where baby is and in no way can you tell what you are looking at on the montor except when the blurry fuzz of what you know must be your baby moves. This was overall a really poor quality monitor, not worth the price if it was even £10. Don't bother with this, it's terrible for both audio and visual use.

+ Being able to walkabout with the video monitor is good.
Music is ok.

- delay in sounds from Baby,
Picture quality (could be better) a bit pixelised and juddery when in night mode.
Screen size a bit small.
Battery life not great only lasts a short while (couple of hrs) when not plugged into wall.
night light pointless.
camera could be more adjustable / option for wall mounting? I've had to tie mine to a hook on the wall.
overall seems a bit cheap in manufacture.

+ We found this to be an easy to use product, and the hand held monitor and portable camera are added bonuses, plus the night vision

- This is a very costly monitor

+ Clear reception and good picture. Good size screen. Clip doubles up as a stand.

- Slight buzzing noise. Cheap plastic feel, quality of finish could be better.

+ You can see what your baby is doing
The machine 'rests' when there is no noise but springs into action when there is a slight mumour which conserves energy
The camera is not too huge and therefore fits nicely into most small spaces.
Neat design
