Dell Inspiron 1545 T3400 2GB 160GB Reviews: Windows Vista Home Premium 15.6" Screen Laptop computer

+ I'm largely house-bound. The laptop gives me comfortable typing in my reclining chair or in bed. I can listen to music or view films.

- A little heavy for me. But then I'm old, arthritic and gouty. Windows Vista is a bit harder for me than the user-friendly Windows XP.

+ Fast and easy to use

- Battery only lasts about 1 hour

- no indicators to say when caps locks, wireless etc is on

- no lights to show web on or caps lock on they are all icons on screen but dont show up very well

+ It's exactly what I needed. I'm not that techy, I use it mainly for internet access and word processing and for those it's spot on. I have found it a lot easier to get work done on it.

- It is a bit heavy at times, but only to be expected. The 't' key sometimes does strange things. Other than that it is great.

+ i love the colour (red) and it was rreally quick to get up and running. no problems,

couldn't get an answer from anywhere on how long the mcaffee protection was free for (found out was just for 30 days for those that are interested!)

+ The product is stylish and a little bit different as it's red rather than the usual black. It's easy to use although it does come with Windows Vista which isn't as user friendly as some of the other Windows products. But overall, I would recommend this laptop for those who just want a laptop for email, internet and word processing.

Lovely big screen and smooth keyboard.
Wifi working great and have been able to do everything I wanted to on it.
So far so good with no problems.

- If I had one wish for it it would be for a little more battery life. It normally lasts between 1 3/4 and 2hours.

+ VERY EASY TO SET UP AND USE STRAIGHT OUT THE BOX. SUPERB FOR WEB BROWSING AND E-MAIL. LOOKS GREAT WITH ADEQUATELY SIZED KEYBOARD BUTTONS AND THE REASSURANCE OF A PRE-INSTALLED INTERNET SECURITY PACKAGE.

- BATTERY LIFE COULD BE A LITTLE BETTER. OVERALL GREAT VALVE FOR MONEY FOR A ROBUST YET LIGHTWEIGHT LAPTOP FROM NOT ONLY A REPUTABLE SUPPLIER BUT MANUFACTURER TOO.
