+ Very sturdy piece of furniture. Not like usual flat-pak stuff

- Was a tad confusing to piece together but that's the trade off against paying top dollar for ready made stuff

Anonymous verified purchaser , “some ikea assembly experience”

+ Value for money, appearance, flat pack storage for transport

- The build quality was not good. Two angled holes in one of the panels had not been drilled at all -- fortunately, I had a drill and a countersink bit available and had to create the holes myself. Two holes in one of the drawer slides were misaligned and I had to drill new holes. The drawer slides to drawer alignment was poor and, fortunately again having them available, I had to use a plane and sanding paper to optimise the slide to drawer fit. Another point - although this is assembly design rather than quality - was that there was very little room between the top drawer slides and the top to access the retaining screws -- I had to go and buy some cranked screwdrivers to be able to screw them up.

+ Nice style, good storage.

- Came damaged, took tesco a long time to send out a replacement part. Instruction illustrations did not match pieces, had to work most of it out myself.

+ The wood is excellent quality and the fittings are really nice and chunky.

- It comes in 60/70 pieces excluding screws/fittings. I took the precaution of marrying someone who can make furniture but most people would have been tearing their hair out.
