- (1) Machinery clogs up easily with shredded paper
(2) No setting to keep the shredder on meaning it is difficult to shred small pieces of paper, e.g. cashpoint receipts

+ very good product for the price

- bin a little small but thats only a minor point

+ A cheap and compact shredder which does exactly what it should do, it's not fancy but for the price is perfectly adequate!

- If you pick up the shredder by its lid it comes off which is a bit annoying!

+ Fantastic for making bags of confetti on your football teams colours. Made a heck of a mess at Wembley! Great price.

- Better to do less sheets than recommended .. I did 3 at a time and that was enough.
Edges sometimes don't get cross shredded.

- It did jam although I was only shedding a few receipts at a time and it took quite some time to clear it.

Bigger bin would be better

+ Cheaper than most other cross cut shredders
Not too bulky to store away.

- Clogs easily meaning you spend ages picking out bits of paper from the cutters just so it will work again.
Takes about 15 minutes to cool down as it automatically cuts out which is a nusciance if you have a lot to shred.
Despite the claims it can handle up to 5 sheets at a time I wouldn't risk any more than 2, unless you want to be unclogging the shredder every couple of minutes.

+ very straight forward to use. takes no effort.

- does not go into cupboard upright. has to be laid on its side. this is only fault i have found.

+ Easy to use. Works really well. No problems with jamming. Excellent for home use.

- You have to feed rather accurately for it to grip the paper. A bit noisy but it's only for five seconds so who cares.

+ Compact size fits well where it is placed.

- Gets full too soon because of the compact size. Clogs up very very quickly with this design and has to be cleared a lot and is also very dificult to clear as well. It is a bit noisier than my last shredder but it does do the job.
