Tesco DFPS08 Stainless Steel Pro Fryer

+ This is a very quick fryer, and not to large for the kitchen. Very good value for money

+ Good family size,easy to clean,doesn't take up a lot of worktop,quick to heat up.

- S/S finish hard to keep looking nice but that is the nature of this finish.

+ quick to reach temprature,comes apart for safe easy cleaning.

+ The handle of the basket folds up for easy storage and the capacity for oil is excellent so ideal for a large family.

- The lid is not allowed to be on whilst cooking although there is no apparant reason wny.

- I know they say you get what you pay for but this is ridiculous, when you go to hang the basket on the side the fat drips over, I would of thought someone would of designed it to hang on the inside to stop this, it is a complete waste of money and is now in the bin as I think it is a health and safety hazard if small children are around. cheap and nasty... very disappointed

+ At it's price it represents good value for money

- Flimsy construction; position and design of handle not very practical (has to be turned over to be placed safely when taken off - not easy to do safely).
Basket sits directly on the element - not ideal.
Overall design, with the basket handle directly opposite the control knob means that the handle points out to the front when in use - again not ideal.
Use of the word "Pro" in the description gives the impression of a more solid, well made product, but I cant see any professional seriously considering this.
