- You need two hands to undo the lock, not good when you have a baby in your arms.

- May be a little low. My daughter who is almost 16 months can reach the locking mechanism already! or maybe she is just a bit tall for her age.

+ Excellent! really easy to assemble. Basically flat pack, just add a couple of nobles and your away, 2min job. No worry about drills or instructions you cant read. Really impressed with the simplicity of it and the way you can just move it from room to room.

+ its is better than most of the other products at the moment as this one opens and closes and is easier to fit.

- cant really think of any really. price coulod be a little better, other than that its well worth the buy. it safely stops my kids from being able to get upstairs.

+ it is as discribed can be opened with one hand with practice my daughter shakes the gate and it stayed i place I feel a lot more confidant now as my kitchenis small and my daughter is quick but like all things around children a closeeye should be kept on them it just helps you keep them safer

+ It's easy to fit because no drilling required. The push in handle is very easy and safe as a child could not open it, so also acts as a safety lock. It's pleasing to the eye and fits in well with the decor.

- The downside to the push down handle is that it's very difficult to operate when you have a child in your arms, esp if the child is asleep. But the safety aspect off set against this does almost outweigh the negative.

+ The Easy Fit Plus gates seem pretty durable and don't require any assembly. The main thing that pursuaded me to buy this model was so that I can move it between different doors.

- You may find you need to send off for the extension. You may find the gate isn't quite a sturdy with the extension in place.

- The product is not a gate. It is a barrier.

- difficult to fit initially measurements difficult to get right when including skirting board

- top folding clip is very stiff you need to press the clip to release the gate (both of my gates are like this) when you are holding a wriggling toddler you need something that works first time and with one hand not two!

+ good secure gate and gets non-parents struggle to gain access, so secure to keep a child in.

- don't think the gate itself is wide enough, when carrying large items through it.
