Kenwood BL636 Silver Liquidiser

+ Very good value for money

- fitting lid on is difficult if you have limited feeling in your fingertips but probably not otherwise

+ Smart look and works well

- Lining up the base with the jug I found difficult for people with less than perfect manual dexterity. It was very stiff to operate but may improve with usage.

+ This is a lovely liquidiser to use and most importantly, is easy for my 10 year old son to operate when making his delicious smoothies! It is light to handle and easy to click into place on the base.

- I just wish Kenwood could have made it look a bit more attractive. I would not call it silver, more like a battleship grey! The only bad point is it is very noisy and on the box it is advertised as being quiet, but it is a big hit with me and my son and a million times better than the last one we had ( which was NOT a Kenwood by the way! )

- Does not puree sufficiently well. Particularly bought for purees for babies. Lid also very difficult to secure.

+ Very good product. Works well. Liquidises ingredients for soup in no time.

- Found it difficult to locate jug and lid at first, but fine once you get used to it.

+ The blender works great! It is quite light weight and easy to use.

- The lid is very very difficult to fit on and has to be juggled about every time which is frustrating.

+ It work ok if there is a lot in there.

- Performance is poor when dealing with small amounts of food

- The top comes loose from the base when you're using it. The plastic insert in the base falls off every time you use it, the bottom of the small jug comes off every time you remove it from the base so the contents fall out everywhere. All in all a rubbish design and I ought to return it for a refund.
