+ It works even better than I expected. The cars stay on the tracks for a start, which is good for little ones.

+ Compact. Easy to put together. Cars go fast.

- Yellow fences come off really easily. The metal contact braid is not very good causing the cars to not move or go round the track. We had to replace them after an hours use. Spoils the flow of the game.

+ The cars are fast and stick well to the track. The track is easy and quick to set up.

- The guide pins underneath the cars (that engage with the slot in the track) are flimsy and easily break off. This is a design flaw, because the figure-of-eight layout means that the cars frequently crash into the sides of each other where the tracks cross - the sideways impact can then snap the guide pins. My seven-year-old grandson broke his within minutes of starting to play. Although there are a couple of spares in the box, they are very fiddly to fit and, at the above rate, will not last long. I don't think he's played with the set since he received it in March, because of the worry about breaking it again..

+ GOT HOURS OF ENTERTAINMENT AND WAS VALUE FOR MONEY

- THE TABS CAME AWAY FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR TOO EASY AND ONCE THEY ARE GONE THEY DO NEED REPLACING.
