There was an issue of when it should have been delivered. Curry's ask you when you would like it delivering but it is down to the manufacturer when it really is delivered ... So make sure you check all that out first ...

If there was an alternative to Currys for this item I would have gone there. The system for selling this made me furious. I went to the store initially to look at the TV I had seen on the internet, none in stock anywhere in my area, OK so I went home telephoned the help line for exact detail of size which was a key factor and got very good help. Then kept an eye on the website until they were in stock again, went back to the store to pay cash because I had been saving up until I could afford it. Cash was refused and I had to go home and pay via the internet then go back to store to collect it two days later. I was in and out of that store like a fiddlers elbow.

I bought a TV and the delivery guy dropped it. As I did not notice the damage until after I put it on the wall Currys refused to replace it.

I purchased a package deal, but there was a hassle getting hold of a couple of the inclusive things - which took days to resolve - and the store staff, whilst being very nice, didn't really have a clue. It became apparent that your online division is totally divorced from your high street stores, which is very frustrating for the customer. Ordering and getting the complete package not only took days to achieve, but actually used up 4 hours of my time. (The order was delived to the store, but even then half the stuff included in the package deal was missing, which took another hour to sort out. And if I'd asked for a home delivery, I would have had to go to the store again to sort it oout). Having said that, I'm extremely happy with the package deal, which was the best deal around.

Generally, most items can be found at a better price elsewhere. Packaging was not removed and taken for recycling/disposal.
