Not advised on delivery date. Arrived with no warning. Unable to pick up old freezer. Result was the new freezer was left in our garage. The old one to be picked up 5 days later. As a result I had to install and reverse door myself. I was told that on delivery my freezer would be checked and installed. There was no way the third party carrier was going to unpack and install the freezer. Not acceptable. Would not recommend as getting delivery and freezer installed was not as advertised.

Currys shipped us a faulty laptop, which had apparently not been checked either by the retailer or by the manufacturer Asus. It simply did not work, and produced a white, blank screen once the power was on. The laptop was intended as a birthday present for my wife, and it was a huge disappointment on the day to discover that a lot of money had been spent only to receive a faulty product. Currys suggested that I return the laptop (bought via the web) to its nearest store - in Carlisle, 20 miles from where we live. I asked if they could collect the faulty laptop (which they did), and then deliver another one. Currys did this, but it was a pity not to get a working product on my wife's birthday, and there was a lot of time taken in contacting this retailer (via premium rate phone numbers) in order to arrange an exchange.
