This retailer has generally bad reviews ie if you ggogle them and does not feature on any comparison site I consulted even though their product was the cheapest by far even to the nearest competitor. As uch, I was somewhat sckeptical ordering from this retailer as there is a statement on companies house website that said they were subject to a winding up petition. Nevertheless, I risked ordering from them and it paid off.

DHL (the delivery agent) sub contracts deliveries to home address to self-employed drivers. The lens was at DHL's depot on Friday, on a van by 7.08 am on Monday but wasn't delivered until 2.25 pm Wednesday thus causing me to waste two and a half days, sitting at home waiting. With other suppliers, deliveries have been made when they are due.

delivery was very slow and the response from customer services at times was not true, but on tne good side the price savings was exceptional so if you are prepared to wait its not a problem. I would prefer to be told 28 days for delivery and get it quicker than be told up to 10 days and have to keep contacting customer services untill it is finally delivered 20 days from order having paid on the order date.

I purchased 2 identical cameras from Simply Electronics on two occasions. The first camera was late in arriving and I had to email customer services. My enquiry was answered promptly and courteously and my order arrived two days later. The package was an excellent deal so I ordered another as a Christmas present. No problems with the order this time and the bundle was £10 cheaper. I would definately use Simply Electronics again.

Where it says shipping 1-2 days is misleading, it took 4 weeks for my purchase to arrive. I am a bit dissappointed though as the products are good value but I could not be waiting 4 weeks.
