The delivery was originally arranged then cancelled, then given 3 weeks delivery estimate, had to chase up delivery as no notification received and when it was finally delivered would only deliver to doorstep and when asked why told by appliances direct its the same for all large products I should have read the details or got someone there to carry it in the house.

My problem wasn't really with appliances direct but more with their chosen courier company who promised to deliver on the Wednesday but then didn't deliver till 2 days later. Over a week after I'd ordered.
