can not fault the way p.c.world handled transaction their service was 2nd to none.delivery on 3rd working day after ordering.very pleased with product feel confident that their after sales service will be as good.

PC World's online services and customer services are terrible. The online descriptions of the product contradict each other and the customer service on the phone makes you feel humiliated. You get the feeling their only aim is to fob the customer off. The only way to deal with them is to write e-mails/letters or contact trading standards/CAB and ask them for help with dealing with them. Bitter taste in your mouth, as you need to prove you do NOT demand something you did not pay for.

Poor customer services. It took four phone calls and two visits to the shop for someone to answer my question on what I need to make the computer do what I need. When I bought the computer online the information on the computer wasn't correct. I know have to buy a whole new software package nearly the same prices as the computer.

The computer was delivered in good time and in good condition, but the wrong physical keyboard (US keyboard) was supplied. After a number of calls to customer service to have a UK format keyboard delivered, one finally arrived at no extra charge to replace the original one. Initially I was told to simply change the keyboard country setting within Windows to compensate, but that wasn't going to change the physical layout! Eventually PC World spares department admitted their mistake and said that several units had been shipped out with the wrong keyboard. I did not appreciate having to fight for the correct part to be sent to me when it was not my error in the first place.

My only gripe is that when delivered it had obviously been dropped or had something placed on the top of it. As such when I opened it up the CD storage plates had been damaged. I opted to fix them with glue rather than have the hassle of phoning for a replacement. Luckily they stuck and thus far have not proved a real issue. Others may have thought differently. This is a courier issue I feel.
