Which is the best network?

The best network is the one that will give you the best coverage around where you live. To find out about which areas each network covers, check out the coverage maps below:

Other things to consider are customer service and getting the right deal for you. Most network providers will match offers you’ve seen elsewhere so it’s worth telling them if you’ve seen a cheaper deal that you’d like on a particular network. Just be prepared to give them proof of the deal.

Good customer service is invaluable so talk to people who are on different networks and ask them about their experiences. Trying to upgrade your phone or sort out any problems with a useless customer service department can be a painful and costly experience.

Should I invest in a touchscreen phone?

Touchscreen phones look great. They’re sleek and are great for certain functions such as using the internet. However, using them to text or email can be a little tricky if you have bigger fingers and they will need constant cleaning as they get covered in fingerprints and grease very easily.

If you think you might have a problem texting and emailing, go for a touchscreen phone with a buit-in keyboard so that you can have the best of both worlds. Phones such as the Samsung Tocco Ultra, T-Mobile G1 and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 are touchscreens with keyboards.

My mobile phone is broken, how do I fix it?

If you are experiencing a fault with your product we advise that you always check with the retailer that you made your purchase from. Check your guarantee or extended warranty to see if they are still in effect.

If your product is no longer under guarantee try searching the internet or enquiring in a local shop to see if the problem you are experiencing is a common one. That way you can work out whether it’s worth repairing or better to save for a new product.

How do I leave a review?

When someone buys a product from one of our retail partners, we email them a brief questionnaire asking them what they think of the product they’ve purchased. We then publish the reviewer’s scores and comments on our website and our partners’ websites. More detail about how we collect reviews.

Our focus is on genuine reviews from real people, so, unlike other review sites, you can’t add a review unless you’ve purchased something online from one of our retail partners.
