Zanussi ZWF16070 reviews: Front Loading loading, 6kg capacity washing machine

+ Easy to use, spins well, get clothes really dry so reduces drying times

- Doesnt tell you anywhere in the book how long they cycles are so until you get used to it its a bit of a pain

+ We have used Zanussi washing machines for over 20 years and found them very reliable

- No bad points but a little noisy and vibration on spin, but it is on a wooden floor, it is no machine fault.

+ The machine is very easy to use and I love the fact you can set it on a 3, 6 or 9 hour timer. I like of various option of cycles and is proving to be very energy efficent.

- The only disappointing factor, but not a major one is that the cycle times are a bit long. I like to wash at 40 degrees so expected the cycle to be no more than 1 hour, whereas it way over this and at times using the fast spin can be noisy, not a main issue I just close the door.

- Unfortunately there is no control over this machine once the cycle has begun. I understand that since there is less water used in the cycle now it does seem an awfully long time to wait for clothes which i don't believe are as clean as in my old Zanussi Aquacycle.

- I didn't really think it through so it's my own fault - but I am irritated by the cold water only fill as it is expensive to heat the water from cold when I have plenty of hot water to use. I also don't like the rigid programming e.g. can't wash at 30 degrees on the cotton programme. Higher spin speeds only available on the cotton programme which takes far too long.

Very energy efficient. All my washing machines over the last 30 years have been Zanussis and the previous one lasted for 12 years. Price very competitive.

It cleans the clothes well, and looks a nice piece of equipment in my new kitchen. I do like the delay system on this machine.
