Zanussi ZWF16070 reviews: Front Loading loading, 6kg capacity washing machine

+ Really have not had it long enough to find out but so far the spin speed is great. I am only using a couple of washes and they seem ok for my needs at the moment. I had a Zanussi for about 13 years so I will have to wait and see.

- Still think some of the cycles are long.

+ Large load, easy to use, variety of washing options depending on type of wash and load. Economy options and timer delay for cheaper use of electricity & water. 1600 spin speed makes drying time next to nothing!

- Vibrates alot even when levelled properly & is quite loud.

+ Spin efficiency 1600- clothes are nearly dry when you get them out. Has quick wash which I use all the time, which only takes about 15/20 mins also has a training shoes wash which will be useful in winter! Really easy to use dial for the different settings. Has a large drum too so can fit loads more clothes in than my old washer. Good value for money.

- On quick wash only does a slow spin so have to spin again on 1600. A bit noisy when spinnning, but washing is very quiet. Don't know how long left to go on the wash as nothing to tell you, however this has never been a problem for me as I know roughly how long each wash is.

+ The washing machine takes a good size load and there are plenty of programs to choose from. It washes very well and the fast spin means tumbling times are less. Great value for money.

+ very efficient and the items seem cleaner.The clothes especially woolens dont seem to have the bobble effect and coloured items seem brighter. All in all the washing seems to be better.

- DONT KNOW HOW LOPNG CYCLE HAS BEEN GOING.

+ Loads of different programs, yet simple to setup with a single dial and a couple of buttons. Fast spin means some clothes are almost dry when they come out. Big door with a large release catch and a big drum make it easy to load and unload. (The old machine needed a good thump to get the door to shut properly!)

- Not really a bad point, but being A rated means that it takes a long time for most of the programs to complete, but there is an express wash if needed. Also there is only a cold water intake - I dont know if that is a good or bad thing.

+ Stuck with Zanussi as the last one lasted for 7 years. The latest one is far easier to use as even I can use it, and I'm a 65 year old bloke!

+ This machine has a large drum, excellent for a larger family and the top spin leaves most clothes fairly dry. I found it easy to use and after reading the manual have been impressed by the many features it offers. It is energy efficient which was important to me and looks good. I would certainly recommend this model.

+ Overall a great machine. Our previous machine was a Zanusi and it was reliable, washed well and lasted many years which is why we have bought another one. Our new machine is living up to our expectations. The 1600 spin is just FANTASTIC!

- The synthetic and cotton cycles are very long with no indication of how much longer they have to run which can be frustrating when you are waiting for it to finish so you can peg out. However, now I know this, I can run it over night on the delayed night cycle.

+ It have a very good spin and various useful programmes. Also easy to use.

- The cyles are long (2.5 hrs for eco wash at 40!) and it doesn't tell you how long you have left of the cycle which was a very useful feature of our last machine.

+ It's simple to use and has a large drum. The normal 40 degree cycle is fairly quick, but the half load takes longer? Has a good spin cycle and I'm pretty pleased all round.

- It is noisy! Especially when spinning. It's louder than my old, broken one!

+ The washing comes out practically dry, drying time is reduced drastically which is fantastic. Loads of functions that I've not used yet but definately will, shoes are my next target. Doesn't take too long to do a full load and it can take a lot of washing. The door is large which makes it very easy to load and unload washing rather than the tug of war I was used to with my old machine! A very good machine, does exactly what I need it to do and saves me some time and effort too.

- It's a bit noisy but nothing excessive. It isn't exactly flush with my units like my old washer was. Fortunately this isn't a problem for me but could be for others, worth checking your dimensions before you buy.

Stands out a little from other appliances because of it's slighly curved shape

+ This is an excellent washing machine. The washing comes out virtually dry. It has a delay start function which because of Economy 7 we have cheaper electricity at night saves us a lot of money. Also it doesn't spin until you are ready so the clothes aren't creased up. I have noticed my electricty bill are lower due to this machine it is very energy efficient.

- The cycle times are very long. But because it has a very large capacity and because the clothes are virtually dry when they come out this isn't so much of a draw back.

+ Very good wash to get clothes clean ,and quiet , useful features for night washing/rinse & hold.
