Zanussi ZWF14070 reviews: Front Loading loading, 6kg capacity washing machine

- eco wash takes far too long , ans it cannot be saving electric or water, but its my understanding that eco wash programmes on any washing machine the eco programmes all take far too long.

+ Machine is very quiet, spin is very efficient I haven,t had a chance to try many of the cycles but the one I have tried gives a good rinse and cleans garments very well.

- It can be rather long in cycle time. Not knowing where the cyle is up to is its worst feature

+ Very quiet cycle including the fast spin, so quiet I had forgotten I had put it on. Beautiful white towels and napkins. Easy to use.

- I couldn't tell how far into the cycle or rather how long before the cycle had to finish.

+ Very quiet machine, and very easy to use. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a new or replacement machine. My overall experience of Zanussi appliances in the past as always been of a high standard and this machine is no exception.

- cannot understand why an ECO wash takes longer than a normal wash. Cannot easily decide how long is left on a programme. Cannot do a time reduced programme with a full load. Basicilly the machine is not user friendly for busy people.

+ GOOD, SOLID MACHINE WHICH IS VERY QUIET, EXCELLENT SPIN SPEEDS GIVE DRY CLOTHES.

- THE 'E' SETTING IS GIVES A DETRIMENTAL LONG TIME TO COMPLETE CYCLE.

+ Easy to use with extensive cycles. Timer delay start is excellent, you can set when you go to bed & it will come on 3,6 or 9 hours later...making good use of economy 7!!
Not noisy at all even on 1400 spin.Clothes come out really dry. Really pleased with purchase.

- No idea of how long left to run on cycle, but does not bother us as we wash it overnight.
Some cycles seem long, but have not compared to other machines.

- if you don't use the quick wash it takes a long time to do a wash. But i do accept that nearly all the washers these days seem to take a long time.

- wish the door would open way because of where it is situated perhaps some thought could be put into being able to open the door either way the same as you can on a fridge or freezer, if that was possible

+ Machine is just very straightforward. Easy to read instructions and i really like the delayed start button as i always manage to find washing just as i am going to bed, but dont have to wake up to smelly washing as i can set the programme to finish just as i get up.

- Not any really, we had to adjust the balance a few times until we got it right, but that is acceptable.

- VERY SLOW, even the quick/fast wash takes for ever! Garments also get very creased even on lowest spin or easy iron cycle!

+ Noise was a priority, after having a Hotpoint, which was the washing machine from hell. The Zanussi was recommended to me by a work colleague and it's fab. I already have a Zanussi dishwasher - again so easy to use and you can't even hear that it's on!

- The only down point is that you cannot have a cold wash with the 1400 spin option, only 900.
