- Software (Power Cinema) is poor. However, the hardware works very well with DVBViewer or GB PVR.

- Windows MCE not compatible, PowerCinema software nowhere near as good as MCE/Vista, still using my old DVB-T card. Will have to wait for Microsoft to produce drivers.

Hauppauge's most affordable satellite tuner card with DVB-S2 compatibility, the Nova-HD-S2 can be upgraded for pay-TV reception with a USB-interfaced CI 'dongle'. It benefits from a remote control, which drives the supplied application.
