Wind Glasses

+ Cost, just.
I bought these thinking they would be similar to a pair I purchased from you about 4 years ago.
Unfortunately you no longer do that model and these are an inferior product.

- The glasses are too wide and you get reflections from behind on the lens which is distracting.
They do not have sprung hinges as my old pair did.

+ Light to wear

- The arms need adjusting - how do I do this?
i.e. can I bend them myself? bearing in mind I do not want to break them.

+ Good value, lightweight

- Too fragile for me, I am very 'heavy handed' and careless with my glasses.

+ Very light weight compared to my old glasses and most of the time i dont notice im wearing them. The rimless lenses means you can hardly that ive glasses on.

- The depth of the lens could do with being slightly bigger.

+ Appearance, weight, size (of lenses)

- Fragile. I only use the glasses for reading/computer work and so need to keep the the glasses in my pocket when not in use. I lead an active outdoor life when at home, but need the glasses to hand for any close work. The glasses often take pressure in the pocked (normally breast pocket) which slightly bends the bridge. The glasses are fragile to re-bend back into shape.

+ Excellent pair of glasses! Very comfortable and lightweight. After ten seconds I don't really notice that they're there at all.

+ Light, comfortable and a lot less obvious to look at than conventional glasses, even with a thick lens.I didn't go for the thinnest lenses available even though my pescription is quite high but it's not a problem.

- Thick lenses are more noticeable from the side with rimless glasses. They don't feel as strong as the conventional frame type.

- End of the legs that sit behind the ear are not very smooth sort of creased, seems like the gloss coating is flaking off, but can't be seen.

+ Stylish light frames, many people have commented on how they 'opened up my face'.

- The reflection of light though the top and bottom of the lenses takes time to get used to, as does the way the arms attach to the lense as they enter your field of vision.

- but there is something wrong with the vision. The lenses as confirmed by the paperwork accompanying the glasses were as per the specification provided by my optician but (I assume due to the distance between the eyes and the glasses) the sense of 'wooziness' which often happens with new glasses (I've had many over the last 30 years) doesn't go away so that it feels like relief when I take the glasses off.

+ Glasses are as advertised and look and feel superb. Customer service cannot be faulted. I made a typo on my online prescription & Glasses Direct exchanged glasses for correct prescription free of charge.

- dreadful fit. In fact I have gone back to using my old pair & it is very doubtful that I will use your service again.
