This is our third white knight gas tumble dryer and the design changes slightly each time. I don't like the green writing all over the front of the machine. The door mechanism seems less smooth. Its more of a snap shut rather than a catch.
The main design change that we don't like is the on off switch. Several times I have leaned against it and turned the machine on by accident.

THE DRYNESS SENSORES KNOCK THE DRYER OFF AS SOON AS CLOTHES ARE DRY WHICH CAN BE A VERY SHORT TIME,WHEREAS THE ELECTRIC ONE USED TO CHURN ON TILL IT FINISHED IT,S CYCLE.OR SOMEONE WAS THERE TO KNOCK IT OFF.

Compared to my last 3 White Knight gas tumble drier, this is much better because when the clothes are at the required dryness, it stops unlike my last one which carried on until the timer was done.
This saves gas and electric which is cost effective and enviromental.
My last one lasted 8 years (motor burnt out) and I'm certain this one will last as long.
Changing the side the door opens is easy.
It's simple in operation. Set the required dryness and hit start. When light is lit your clothes are dry.
It is fairly quiet in operation.

- Cost £120 to install. Must be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer who is authorised to install gas tumble dryers. There aren't many of them and are quite hard to track down.

The ECO83A is a microprocessor controlled electronic sensing dryer which works to reduce the possibility of tangled clothes and features a user selectable drying function where the machine stops the cycle when it detects your clothes are sufficiently dry at the dryness level you have chosen.
