Good points:: Cycle times reasonable quick and quieter than my old Candy
Bad points:: on the first wash machine leaked water on spin cycle, did a 2nd wash to make sure connections were sound and found the outlet hose had split (soaked the carpet a 2nd time) have to wait 5 days for a replacement hose (on a new machine!!) and await phone call for when engineer can fit it.
Small items get caught between drum and door seal so you have to hike them out and wring by hand
Bought for whirlpool reliability or so I thought

Built-in machines have a cabinet door attached to the front of them so that they look like the rest of your kitchen. Freestanding machines can be seen and the machine can be placed in any position in your kitchen.
