+ Automatic half load

- No 50 degree cycle. Also no way of identifying how long remains on the cycle.

- It is very noisy when on spin and takes a very long time for the cycle to finish.

+ simple to use dial if you are not after digital machine reasonably quiet, good selection of programs nice looking machine.

+ I have been very pleased with this purchase. The clothes come out clean, and dry enough to save me money on the tumble drying! The cycles are quick. Basically, everything I want and need for a large family.

- A little noisy

+ Apart from the points stated below everything about the machine is first class, so far.

- With having copious hot water, with our central heating system, it is a pity that one had no choice between hot and cold start. This, in our case, does not save energy.

+ the noise compared to my old washing machine is so much quieter and the quickwash option is very handy. Also like the way the wash, rinse and spin light up during each cycle, so you know roughly how long is left.

+ Very eco friendly, with auto half load. Quiete, easy to programme. Versatile-you can change programme any time and remain at same stage in cycle or reset from start if prefered. Size is a touch smaller than other washers so it fits in tight corner easier

- I would have prefered the pre-wash to be a seperate button on its own and not only on the hot cycles. I dont like filters which req cleaning. The 5kg load only for the cotton cycles, delicates take 2.5kg & wool 1kg. Not child proof, cannot lock Controls.

+ Purchased for my elderly mother and had to be easy to use. Controls are clear and straightforward. We tend to use the quick cycle for most loads and this gives good results. A good buy which meets our needs.

- Filter positioned very low-i can't fit any container under it to drain water...

+ It has everything I need to wash clothing for a family of four, including two teenagers. It seems to do an excellent job(only had it a couple of weeks). It is extremely quiet and has the great 30min wash cycle which with teenagers who change their clothing twice a day is a godsend!!!
Overall it is excellent value for money. I am pleased with it.

+ Having shopped round and eventually managed to get details of cycle times (manufacturers are a bit coy about those) I downloaded the manual from the website for this machine. This was one of the few washers in the 'reasonably priced' bracket which didn't take an age to do a normal economy wash. Don't worry about the relatively slow spin speed. 1200 is plenty for a normal wash.

- None really. It's not whisper quiet but not deafening.

+ it's very easy to use. the programme times are very good, especially the quick wash which is only 30 minutes.

- The drum seems quite small and I can't load as much washing at one time as I have with previous machines.

- None really except with only having a cold fill it seems to take much longer than my old whirlpool washer. Not able to open the Terms and Conditions Panel to full screen and therefore didn't read them properly. This sort of thing makes one just want to not bother with the whole questionaire. So I unticked the box and of course the Q could not be submitted, therefore I have ticked the box now when I shouldn't have done!

- No quick rinse but that a minor point. The normal rinse takes 10 mins. Wouldn't fault the machine for that.

- there is no On/Off button! what is the point of that? why list and advertise the efficiency rating info to inform the purchase and then make a machine you can't turn off. maybe i'm thick and can't see the obvious (although i did check the manual) but why would i want to pay to have it on all the time?

+ A very good product, it does what it says on the tin. Simple and nice design, all the basic features you need and a bit more, sturdy, inexpensive (and from Whirlpool).
It looks good too, and seems to be very competent. I'm very happy with it, it's very good value for money and I think it will last for years.

+ Good selection of programmes without being too technical. You can also choose which spin cylce which is useful in the winter as the clothes are a lot dryer. Would definately recommend this product.

- The washing powder does not run through the machine properly and leaves powder marks on clothes after they have gone through the washing cycle is over.
The cycle times seem to last twice as long as my previous machine.
