+ My 4, almost 5 year old loved it and got straight on with it, we both went out taking pictures and had a really good time. The image quality was better than I thought it would be judging on the reviews I had read on other sites. The box stated that it had an improved image sensor. Hooking it up to the TV was good. I think it was his favourite present over Christmas.

- While playing around with it my boy managed to format the memory and wiped the first set of pictures that he took. It shouldnt be as easy as that. The only other bad point is that there are 3 flash settings, strong, normal or off, and its not obvious how to access this resulting in lots of pure white shots.

+ This toy was probably the best buy for my daughter, she loves taking the photos, has fun playing the games and thinks the fact she can put funny faces on people is great fun. It has kept her entertained for hours and has some great photos to share with the family that she has proudly taken herself.

- If you get to close to a subject the image is very bright and it eats batteries.

+ the children can do all the normal things , drop it without fear of damaging the camera.

- the amount of pictures they have taken ,she now informs us she requires a computor to process her oun photographs.

- my son loves this camera and uses it all the time if i had to find a negative it is probably that we go through lots of batteries so csn be expensive. Although we did buy rechargable batteries and charger, saves some money.

+ I bought 2 one for my son and the other for my daughter. They both loved it they were running around at xmas like they were pros. Keeps them occupied as there are games to play aswell and they can make a movie.

- When taking photos in the evening you can't see anything on the LCD screen. Even with the lights on the LCD screen is very dark. Only takes good pictures during the day.

+ Lovely little camera, ideal for young children. It's easy to use and my children have fun adding the animations that are loaded on the camera to the pictures they've taken!!

- The pictures seem easy to delete, we had some lovely shots and my daughter managed to delete them all before i could get to upload them to the computer! Some of the pictures are of rather poor quality but it's only a childs toy after all.

+ It seems to be an ideal toy version of a camera, perfectly suitable for young children such as our 4 & 5 year old grand-daughters. We chose it because it seemed to offer more features & versatility than its competitor. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the pictures. About 6 weeks after we bought it for them it is still in one piece & giving them a lot of pleasure.

- No bad points that we can think of. The only reason we gave a slightly lower mark for the educational side of it is simply because it doesn't have much to do with the 3 Rs! However, we realise it teaches children how to use a simple camera.
The other slightly lower mark is due to the fact that we paid for it & thought it was a bit pricey!

+ A robust, easy to hold camera which has survived being dropped several times, including down the stairs. It encourages the child to look through the viewfinder rather than at the screen, which has helped my daughter to be able to close one eye at a time! The quality of the images isn't always that great, but as a first camera for a young child it's great. It also has some games on it like noughts and crosses which keeps minds and fingers busy. We gave it to our daughter to take some photos of her new baby brother to ease the sibling rivalry issues and it's really helped.

- I don't like the inbuilt flash being opposite the viewfinder - if my daughter accidentally points the camera the wrong way round, she gets a flash directly into her eyes at close range. It should be on the top of the camera or have some sort of sensor to stop the flash working if the camera is the wrong way around. The image quality isn't that great and it's tricky for my daughter to remember how to delete images - the process should be a bit simpler, especially if there are 25 images of a dark floor to delete!

+ Fun and easy to use. No need to worry about kids dropping it on the floor. And they won't touch your own cameras any more. Multi-functional. Great present for kids. I find my kids age between 4-7 enjoy it tremendously.

+ I bought this camera for my 3 yr old niece as she loves taking pictures with my camera. It is very simple to use and very sturdy, and she loves the pink colour and the fact you can change the design on the front.

- The pictures can be blurry because a 3 yr old can't hold the camera still, and she did notice the poor quality compared to when she took photos with my camera.

My son loves the games on it and has had it for 2 months and isnt bored of it. Its easy to use - hes 4 and needed little instruction.

- Doesnt bother me or my son but camera quality isnt great - but adequate enough I guess.
If you dont want your child getting additced to games consoles then maybe give it a miss - this is like a simple version dues to the games on it.

+ This was brought for my son's 4th birthday. It was so easy to use, infact we still haven't read the instructions properly and its keeping him happy. We doubled up our clubcard points so didn't cost us anything - worth doing!

- Not sure about the viewing quality of the photos.

+ It doesn't just have camera option, but also video and games too. Easy for children to use and they like the way you can add funny pictures onto their photos.

These cameras have given my children their own independance with opportunities to take pictures that they want to take, and when the photos have been transfered to the computer it has given them a great sense of acheivement and self pride.

+ This is actually a christmas present for my 5 year old son who wished for a digital camera. I have put in the batteries and had a go - and it is great, he will have no problem with using this camera. I am going to get him a small SD card to use in the camera, so I can load this direct into the printer to print his photos.

- Picture quality isnt great and good lighting is needed for best results. The flash tends to wash the whole pic out. In good light or outdoors its great. I wouldnt expect it to be up to the standard of a real grown ups camera but for a kids "toy" cam its brill.
Battery life is terrible too but to be fair my boy doesnt switch it off after use!

+ this camra is very easy to use for my 2 1/2 year old.it is very fun with all the different games on it. You can also add images on to the pitures for e.g bunny ears and devil hornes. I would defo remond this product to any for lots of fun for the kids, but beware they take pictures when you least expect it!!!!

+ Enjoyment and education rolled into one, my Boy's played with it for hours. They took fun pictures of all the family and then downloaded them. The additional backdrops are brilliant and we now have pictures of a very stern Granddad with bunny ears. My youngest read the paperwork and decided that it was a very sturdy camera it would take a few knocks and bumps so he threw it down the stairs just to make sure, all I can say it still works wonderfully and survived the fall.

+ My 3 year old boy loves having his own camera and despite his lack of experience at photography is snap happy!! He is also enjoying the games. Other features are still too advanced for him.
The camera is sturdy and easy to handle for small hands.

+ Good design and build, strong enough to withstand the knocks and drops it will no doubtly sustain during its life. Battery life good.

+ Image quality is good enough. The camera is tough and droppable, and very easy to use. My three year-old got the hang of it very quickly. Being able to show the pictures on the TV, and then to edit and distort them is a great plus. Much fun. Batteries seem to last for ages.

- The AV out socket is dodgy - not sure how long it will provide a good connection. Doesn't do great in low-light (e.g. inside with room lights).

+ Bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday, she feels very grown-up now she's got a "proper" camera. She loves playing with this and has taken lots of photos with it. Can be connected to the TV very easily to view the photos, or to a PC. Seems quite well built and is easy for young children to use.

- Would not be suitable for older children due to the poor picture quality, but my daughter just loves snapping photos of everything and she doesn't seem to mind that a lot of them don't come out! The flash doesn't always fire and is too bright when it does, so photos can be either too dark or too bright. You wouldn't be able to print any photos out but it's fine as a children's toy.

+ My daughter loves her camera. She likes playing the games and editing the pictures after there taken to make them look even more silly! For a five year old it's great because they can really use it to it's full potential.
