- Very poor connection u can hardly connet to internet. I am thinking about returning the product.

+ If I can get a mobile signal, I can work. Unmetered usage. Some months I travel a lot and use it at least every other day, and some months I hardly touch it. The lack of metering means I don't have to justify usage, I use it when I need it. If I pay over the odds on quiet months, that's better than having to explain why a peak month was heavy.

- It's only available for business purchase. So why does it prohibit adult content by default? Why are non-porn sites, like Skype.com, part of adult content? The blinking lights aren't easy to interpret. A solid light means a good connection, but I've been on a train with a blinking light and it passed data - slowly, but it moved.

- some times no 3G is available and GRPS is SO SO slow. 3G is ok but often photos are very low quality. Webcam pictures are also low quality and often delayed

- You have to wait for your computer to have completed turned on before you can plug it in, therefore you cannot leave it plugged in all the time, takes a whie to become completely active

+ The modem's design enhances its functionality by making it easy to connect to a laptop and then to be stowed away thereafter. The connection process is a breeze, which is especially important to me as I am using a Mac and similar devices are often incompatible or not properly supported. I have never had any connection issues so far and recently managed to get a full signal in the middle of the New Forest!!!!!

- Occasionally, if I am connected to the 3G network and my internet client is idle for a nominal amount of time, the modem automatically connects to the GPRS network even though I have specifically requested it to only connect via 3G. This sometimes creates delays when I come to use the internet again.

- not sure if its just my laptop or not, but I sometime have to pull the modem out of the USB socket and plug it in again to get it going otherwise it errors during connection, saying that device is already in use or cannot be configured correctly.

+ Good design, easy to transport, very effective. I run an event production company and often find myself in bizarre places without internet access. The gadget (as it is affectionately known in the office) has revolutionised our ability to communicate when on site and away from the desk.

- It has a bad habit of sending me a notice telling me that it cannot confirm that I have had parental control removed half way through using the sites I need to use. It lets me on, then can't make up its mind and stops me refreshing pages when I am working. That can have very adverse affects on my earnings!!!

Sometimes the signal will show as connected, but no traffic will pass through the modem. Disconnecting then reconnectin will usually resolve this.

+ The size and speed especially in turbo mode are really good.

- Can have difficulty locking onto a Vodafone network, i.e. often finds everyone else first. Absence of Vista software was a big issue for a few days however patching the device was easy. Installing by the device emulating a CD drive is very clever. Form factor means short USB cable is vital to clear other USB devices such as Readydrives etc.

+ Loved the fact i could go away to a hotel and not have the use their Internet cards as they cost a small fortune

- Extremely slow Internet Connection and poor download speed. No where near as good as the speeds you advertise.

- web pages take a long time to load. Sometimes its almost as bad as dial up. Signal varies depending on where you are at the time but I mostly get either 'poor' or 'good' and have never managed to get a 'very good' or excellent' signal.

- It takes ages to connect. Not everytime it connect to 3G so the speed is really slow. Few time it kept disconnecting and I have to end my work, because I was unable to connect to Internet.

+ Very portable, and ultimately it gets me connected to the interweb.

- Despite its small size compared to other dongles, it is still just wide enough to prevent me from plugging anything else into the adjacent USB port. Mildly annoying. More important, however, is that connectivity during early evening peak time is rather sloooooow - trying to upload anything to Facebook or download anything from iTunes gets infuriating.
