Mark, South Walkes , “unaccomplished keyboard player”

Score 7.0/10

+ It does what it claims, is light weight and compact so very portable. Simple to use. Requires a firm and accurate strike on the keys to activate them - this is good for me as it helps to improve my technique and finger strength (one of my objectives).

- White key area between black keys is not sensitive - this makes playing the keyboard practically impossible.

- The keyboard is very difficult to use, you have to press very hard to get the notes which sometimes do not work.

Kevin, Aylesbury , “I love Technology /”

Score 10.0/10

+ The included software gives you the chance to mimic many other instruments besides a piano, is great fun to use and is far less bulky than a conventional electronic keyboard.

- The keys need to be pressed quite hard, and in just the right place for them to work properly.

+ Good points you get to hear some of the notes of a piano and have a little fun playing on it.
Great idea for someone like me who doesn't have room for a keyboard or piano but would like to play.

- Bad points - It is posted rolled up and not flat, after three weeks of trying to get it flat at the ends and remove all the bumps I still couldn't play all the keys properly.
Love the idea of it but they need to find some other plastic/rubber texture that has more flex in it to lay flat so all the keys actually work!!

- You can only play one note at a time, after poking at the key REALLY hard. It'd be more fun if it was just a tiny bit more easy to use.

- Infuriating time delay between pressing the key and hearing the note from the PC. Not due to lack of processing speed etc in the PC. Makes it unusable as anything other than a toy for a child.

Score 5.0/10

+ The software is great - composition & 'special effects' on a PC comparable to something I saw on system costing 6 figures in the 90's when I worked in broadcast TV.

- The keyboard is a disappointment - keys too small , too narrow for adult fingers & requiring too much pressure to respond. One finger pecking works OK but smooth play is impossible.

Score 9.0/10

+ It's great fun, for a beginner, and rolls away nicely. The software is comprehensive and is easy to use, too - LOADS of different instruments and other sounds to play with. Still, massive fun for kids and the young at heart.

- If you're any good at playing keyboards, though, you might find it a bit limiting.
