+ Very nice and bright screen. Light. Portable. Nice webcam. Good design. I don't regret buying this at all.

- Not as fast as I had first anticipated as I was upgrading from a Pentium 4 2.8Ghz with 512Mb ram to this 2.0Ghz Core2Duo with 3gb ram but still it is not exactly slow.

+ Excellent size, brilliant screen (HDMI Output too) fantastic keyboard, good connectivity, all round excellent little machine!!

- Wi-fi a bit unpredicable = doesn't want to connect to router with WPA security. WEP no problems, could just be mine. Otherwise absolutely no downside!!

- i would say that the mouse pad (synaptics pointing )after a while which you starting the work get warm and it bathering .

- Lack of dedicated graphics

+ Very light with good size screen to use both on the move, at home and at work. Performance is excellent considering the size.

- Keyboard is quite shiney, so can be difficult to see the labels, especially when I use it on trains. Had to uninstall a lot of unecessary / unwanted programs.

+ The overall design is very good. The laptop is light and its size makes it easy to travel with. The screen is very good.

- Just that Windows Vista takes a bit of getting use to but overall not any bad points have sufaced yet.

Very compact for a fully featured notebook/ laptop (barely bigger than a netbook!!)
Very light for specs (again not much heavier than a netbook but with the bonus of high performance and a DVD drive)
Battery life is much better than I was led to believe by other reviews and lasts for between 2 and 3 hours usually!! ...Basically everything is good there's far too much to mention everything but it is what you'd expect from a Toshiba and having a reconditioned model means it's much cheaper than in the shops and there is no way of telling it is reconditioned, there were no marks whatsoever on mine.

- If I had to pick one, and I'm being extremely fussy here and it doesn't really matter...
the lovely attractive glossy black finish does show up finger prints a lot.
