- Good points:
- Some good things about this laptop? well, the keyboard is basic but when I say basic I mean 'perfectly basic' lol very smooth to use, the black design layout of the key and letter pad is very nice. The texture of the laptop with smooth grain and simplistic yet stunning design just reminds you of a classic Nokia handset with the latest features or futuristic almost and yet keeping to it's originality in design and function! I could of bought the i5-330m, though it's faster it does not have the ATI 5650 graphics card and that is what makes this L650-165 laptop worth buying! though it may have 2gb memory, still it's fast enough, with 4, lol I wouldn't know what to expect but I'd be in for one hell of an experience. good webcam! 0.3 mgpxl, pretty good to be honest :) its very quiet for a laptop except when charging it makes a slight running noise and when you insert a CD it tends to make a click click noise every 10 mins or so, but its nothing really. I've only just bought it but have yet to experience its full potential! for gaming I've heard its awesome, plays any game! for a laptop that's not bad! Battery life is very good! just keep it on eco mode at all times remember that and you will not have a problem! it's very light in weight. I've heard Toshibs are the best as they are Japanese so, can't go wrong there!
- Bad points:
- Can't find anything bad about it really at the moment, still, could of been a little less in price though, bit on the high side but for what you are getting you can't complain really, a 5650 graphics card, i3-330m processor, 0.3mgpxl cameram quiet fan and hard drive, silent almost, plain basic layout and keyboard, just as any student would want it, expandable up to 8gb wow! i can't find anything bad as of yet, hopefully not but looks like this is better than an apple mac or pro or any other laptop out there, trust me ;)

- Good points:
- * Loudest bang for your buck! for the price, the supplied ATI is possibly the best one around, which means i can do my design work on it. even small things like bluetooth and wireless b/g/n card for which dell charges tens of quids comes with it by default. * Full Keyboard, Keypad * Bright Screen * More than 2.5hours of battery, eco mode stretches even that. * OK speakers, tinny but loud enough.
- Bad points:
- * worst possible build quality. the plastic covers underneath creeks. the front edge catches my arm hair :P, the touch pad is wrongly aligned to left causing you to accidently go here there, the LOUDEST dvd rom that ive ever heard, painful to use. spacebar squeaking even after just 1months of normal use.

- Good points:
- It's a reasonably powerful laptop that does pretty much what you'd expect - it can play most modern games on reasonable settings, if you want, and it works fine for everything else. It's pretty, fast, quite light and has a nice big screen.
- Bad points:
- The battery life is about what you'd expect from a laptop with this sort of power - not very long. You'd probably be pushing two hours, even doing virtually nothing. It's also extrememly wide, so be careful with carry bags you already own - it might well not fit!
