- wifi disconnecting

+ It looks great! the keyboard is good and nice to use. all the usb slots are in convenient places and its got a 5-in1 card reader which is really useful.

- Battery only tends to last a max of 1.5 hours and thats on "battery saver". Although it looks fantastic, fingerprints ruin the shine

+ the screen is top notch! hdmi input is very handy to view vista on the big screen.

- battery life is poor, but you have it run through the mains without battery, which hekps keep the battery life at a resonable level.

+ Great design very suprised at other features i got with it.

- Vista is rubbish however toshiba dont allow you to downgrade. i suppose i will have to wait for windows 7. battery life could be a bit longer but on the whole its good for games and home use and good value for money

- Touch screen can get stuck, and sometimes can be over sensitive causing screens to switch while typing.

- a little bit heavier than i thought it would be, but once a decent bag was purchased, no problems with transporting. also, i ran out of USB ports very quickly.

+ The speakers are really good and probably the best I've ever heard on a laptop whilst the design really stands out with it's shiny glossy look. The 3GB of RAM is also quite powerful compared to other similar priced laptops.

- The touchpad is sometimes a bit slow to react and the 'media buttons' can be annoying if you touch the main one by accident when the machine is switched off, as it turns the laptop on without your request.

- Battery doesn't stay charged as long as I'd have thought it would

- It has pre installed ms works and it keeps asking for the code to use it so the complete program doesnt work, its a shame these things are not checked

+ Very clear screen, mostly user friendly. Nice looking machine, has lots to offer. A little heavier than I thought but feels very substantial.

- DVD/CD copying not very easy to use.

+ The product is actually pretty good except for the unresponsive mouse pad and the speakers are excellent for a laptop.

- Problem is vista which i suppose could effect any laptop....it really seems to drag the speed down

+ Sleek design, robust machine. Keystrokes smooth and mouse easy to use. Good number of USB sockets and HDMI out is superb feature.

- Video card causes conflicts with S-video, I have two of these machines and both have the same fault. Dont buy these machines if you need S-video otherwise VGA and HDMI are ok

- The ongoing loading of "Trial" only software that has to then be paid for after only 30 days with constant reminders to do so. No one needs it and the first thing I always do is to uninstall it on any machines I have anything to do with and install free software that is just as good. Having no choice except Windows Vista as many of my programs cannot run on it Other than that no issues.

+ it is very fast and very easy to use. the camera is also very good.

- sometimes it takes a while to turn on.

+ A very good clear screen. Looks good, with good overall performance at a very good price (the one I brought was refurbished and was extremely good value).

- has a very shiny finish which shows up all the finger prints. Also the screen is very reflective in strong sunlight

- the mouse stops every now and again sometimes the touch pad moves on its own, its just not a good laptop it takes so long to load up its terrible!!!

- Cooling Fan a bit noisey

+ Suitable for me as a first time laptop user. Pretty quick in running multiple applications, this is my first Laptop so i cant really compare it to previous purchases. Very good value for money. Battery life is ok too one n half hours PLUS ide say depends on how you set-up. Nice design and visuals.Not yet fully tested.

- battery life is terible, the key board keys are not in line,very heavy for the size,the mouse area is no good being level because while your using the keyboard your always catching and moving the mouse which is very annoying,if i would have known this in the first place i would not have bought this type of laptop

+ Size and weight are ideal for home use

+ Battery life is long. It has a large hard drive for the price and other system specifications are good value for money.

- The touchpad is centred to the letters of the keyboard, not the whole keyboard, causing my thumb to rest on it while typing and move the cursour mid-sentence. It can be quite slow and often stalls despite being so new.

+ Performace: It is really very fast even sometime it's prove that we are so slow to operate notebook

and most plus poing for entertainment, the speakers are fantastic with dolby sound and i like speaker style as well

- One thing i don't like it is mouse pad & sometime pointer jumping
that's why it is not easy to use mouse controll and scroll

+ smart, attractive, stylish, excellent speakers, smooth key strokes, well made, nice piece of kit

+ screen size excellent for watching dvds, the speakers on this unit are fantastic no need for external speakers,sleek design, web cam, in fact to many to list here.

- glossy key board...if you have OCD this will drive you nuts no built in blue tooth but apart from that cant fault this machine.

- The lap was faulty when it arrived (boot error), I was told to run restore but it continued to be faulty with various boot error problems. I was asked to down load a disk checker programme, which found no faults but the boot error continued, it was returned after 1 week.
