+ very good with xbox 360 and pc 10 out of 10 games look stunning and when surfing the web very clear text. very nice when watching high definition content looks fantastic being full 1080p
very nice price also.very good sound from tv as well and the styling of the tv is fantastic would recommend tv highly

- settings ie color settings can be a bit to bright on the stock settings i had to fiddle with the settings which can be a bit fiddley but well worth the effort to get the best overall picture this is where my samsung tv was better. sometimes digital pictures from ntl v+ box can be a bit dodgy but i think that this is something to do with signal can get pixilated at times havent tried freeview so cant comment.

+ Excellent TV, wish i had gone for a larger size now. having said that its a great TV for both SkyHD and the Xbox 360. Nice screen with more than ample connections with two HDMI, which is nice :) Totally recommend the Toshiba

+ Great picture for the price. Surprisingly good sound with decent bass handling. Good connectivity. Great motion handling. Decent performance for SD pictures. Stylish looks.

- Picture issues via HDMI with a PC. The viewing experience at night can be affected by the TV's less than stellar black level performance. Some colours not represented properly or are oversaturated.

+ Clean design, easy to set up. The auto tune picked up everything there was to be had, especially as my arial is pretty ropey! The quality of upscaling is superb, again, my arial is the only let down at the moment.

- Black isn't my first choice of casing, but there is no other option here at the moment with this model.

+ The picture quality on this when using a relatively cheap upscaling DVD player is amazing. There's parts of the screen i've never looked at before when repeatedly watching certain films.
Plus there's no problems with the number and variation of the input sockets, i.e. HDMI, Aerial, Scart, etc.

- The internal menu screen is extremely small when sat at distance from the screen. Very minor point though really.

+ This product had rave reviews, and that is what influenced our purchase. The TV looks really smart mounted on the wall. The sound quality is very good, and the controls allow you to alter to 'taste'. All round a good tv.

- The picture is not as sharp as we expected it to be, but how much of that is our fault, I couldn't say. However, we have tried tuning it in all sorts of ways, but still the edges are slightly blurred.

Expert reviews for Toshiba 37X3030

TechRadar expert review

Usually we aren't particularly bothered about how much things cost. Not because we've got more money than sense or anything (sadly that couldn't be further from the truth) - it's just that our love of AV is such that we find ourselves reluctant to compromise on performance standards to save a few bob. But for our current favourite 37in LCD TV, we're happy to make an exception. For the compromises demanded by Toshiba's 37X3030 are actually way, way smaller than we'd have thought possible given its puny ¬£800 price tag.Take, for starters, its build quality. It's robust, impressively glo…
