+ excellent for sky HD viewing and blue ray is even better. quality on par with much more expencive tv's. 3 hdmi ports one of witch is on the side. top up tv slot.

- Standard definition suffers, however with some colour tuning and a bit of look SD looks much better, with the exception of SD football, it is truly awful. The up side is, as bad as SD football looks, HD football is amazing, and if you’re a rugby fan it looks even better.

You're getting a TV that is just as good as similar type TVs but without having to pay more for the privilage of the manuafacturer name. I did quite a bit of research before I bought and am pleased with my choice.

+ I have had Toshiba TVs before, and this is the latest replacement. Toshiba make very good products and are not cheap but are good value in the long term. This model has all the latest specifications that I would go for, I am pleased with my choice.

- My wife thinks it is OTT with its options. But once set to your our personal preferences its great.

+ Hi definition looks great.
Has more than enough inputs for PS3, freeview, DVD, VCR etc.
Looks stylish, and the stand supplied swivels.
Easy to setup.
Good price for the specifications - 100hz, 1080p etc.

- Freeview can look poor, but that is the fault of the compressed video used in SD broadcasting.
The picture settings will need to be changed from the factory settings, as everything is set to 100 which produces a picture that is lower quality than a calibrated picture.

+ Fantastic TV for the price; HD looks stunning and normal SD viewing is ok too. The 100Hz makes a difference to viewing too, but my main reason for purchasing was for console gaming which is sublime in full 1080p.

- Needs some tatting to get the screen 'just so', but well worth it. Also, the sound is a little tinny but not too bad. Finally, I'm not sure if this set has true optical sound out - so far, no joy but I could be wrong; I've not had a massive amount of time to check.

- A common problem with these type of tv's - they get very warm and seem to attract tons of dust. No other bad points to report so far.

+ An excellent tv. auto tuning as soon as we switched it on altho you need to have a standard tv ariel connected.. found menu's easy to use.. sound stable function fantastic so no more loud ad's.. the xbox looks fantastic on it.. as does the sky box running off a scart lead. only had to change just a few of the settings.. worth every penny.

+ quick to set up, lots of tweaking options to get colour set up properly, well laid out remote, 100hz good for motion, picture seems fine with standard sky (non hd) but full 1080p content looks great.

- remote can be a little unresponsive at times, out of box colour settings were not too our liking.

+ Technical quality seems good. Sleek. Casing around screen is small so overall size is less than some other comparable screen size TVs.

+ Great spec for the money. Brilliant for Gaming, brightness levels very good.

- Too much black gloss, not as pretty as my previous Toshiba.
Sound is hit and miss, constantly playing with sound levels between TV, gaming and DVD/Bluray movies.

+ Settings menu is imense with tons of options to play with and memorises each setting for the inputs. HD is where the tv is really good.......blueray is incredible and no motion blur of note (only watched bond film so far). Again i would strongly advise playing with settings as way too bright when first started.

- The inputs on the side of the tv are not seperate from the component/vga, so with having my xbox on component and wii on side i cannot use the xbox without unplugging side connections which is annoying and rather bad design.
SD quality picture is average really, bit pixelated but very wachable.

+ Brilliant for gaming the built in gaming mode made my 1080p PS3 games look amazing
blu rays are of great quality and dvd up scaling looked great

- the sound was terrible this TV needs to have additional support for sound its very low and very hollow to the point of unbearable

+ good image for standard def, excellent hi def image via blue ray, ps3, and upscaled dvd.
good full sound for a flat screen, loads of inputs.

- takes a while to tweak settings for a good picture, standard settings are far too harsh and you will be constantly adjusting the settings for a few days
menus are a tad bit small and hard to read
slight back light bleed
100hz mode is hit and miss, depends on the source material at worst it it looks artificial
bit of a lag when changing channels via remote will annoy if constantly changing channels

- Normal programmes (Non HD) get a bit pixellated so are not as good as a standard TV.

+ Excellent value for money,most tv's of this size/spec are alot more,If your like me and just want a good tv at a descent price you won't go far wrong with one of these.Easy setup,no messing around,sky digital looks alot better,terrestial tv isn't great for us but it never is in our area,video playback looks poor but thats probably our video's fault,dvd's look great and can't wait until we get sky hd installed.Picture quaility is only as good as the source and if the source is bad any lcd will display a very poor image compared to a conventitional tv.

+ Great image quality on X-box (1080 feed). Not tried HD TV feed yet due to Sky taking their time. Easy to set up and tune Freeview channels. Very good looking set design wise. Sound is good enough for normal TV better through external speakers for DVD,s X-box etc. Full power down option so not always on stand-by.

- TV collects dust like you wouldn't believe (but it's my first LCD, so maybe they all do). It forgets a lot of its settings when you use the power down option.

+ Great picture, sound and range of features for the cash. Nice looking, good build quality and nice remote. By far the best value 37" on the market in my opinion. Only burns 0.8w in standby.

- Only 1 scart socket takes RGB signals. Toshiba don't make Blue Ray players. Took ages to discover the power off switch on the back, so thought it wasn't working (setup is otherwise easy). I'm scratching my head to think of anything else.

+ Sleek, stylish and a good quality picture. For its size and value for money its brilliant, I had a JVC 26" before this so this new TV is brill.

+ Watching movies via blu ray or playing the PS3 this tv is superb. Freeview works fine.

- While watching football the image is slightly pixelated but this could also be the same with all lcd tv's. SKY HD would probably solve this complaint.

+ No complaints ! I've still to 'tweak' the picture but even out of the box its more than acceptable !!! I had read some reviews complaining of the sound but I've got to say, I'm more than happy with it.

+ Good looking TV with high quality 1080p picture once you have adjusted all the settings that are available. The 'all power-off switch' is very handy for saving energy. Lot's of connection slots - HDMI, Scart and PC etc. which are very handy for all your peripherals.

- Not totally convinced by the sound quality. Having sound problems on HDMI connection to one device as the TV seems to be more advanced than earlier ranges and some older devices have compatibility problems.

+ great design due to the thin surround. although a 37 inch tv it is only slightly bigger than some 32 inch tvs with bulky side panels.

+ Lots of gubbings for the price. Very good picture for every day viewing. easy to set up. Have not seen a better picture for the price. have connected it to surround sound system. Prision Break, 24, HD, surround sound cannot be beaten (apart from a few jars down the local)

- Not the best for live football when sometimes ghosts when picture is panning, but good when close up. Too many options for tuning the picture can be confusing exactly what each function does, On the other hand hours of fun playing about with the picture quality if that is what floats your boat!

+ Black, slick design, auto tune, easy install. Excellent value for money. Just the right size for my living room.
