+ ideal for touring...that's it

- the size is still not right for a motorcycle...it needs to retain screen size, but reduce other dimensions.
the price is still not worth the product, relative to what you can get for a car for that money. it is a price that penalises consumers for lack of options rather than having consumers pay for extra features. The car versions are much better priced.

+ Fantastic product, very easy to use, first outing from Manchester to Dorset via several Harley dealers, not a wrong turn on the route. Battery lasted about 5.5 hours although it started flashing as low at about 4.5 hours. Very easy to follow even without the headset attached, can't recommend enough.

- Can't see any so far

+ well the fact that it is water resitant is great. and i love the fact that my cell phone can be connected to it for hands free calling. also the fact that it can be used while wearing bike gloves is a bonus. features and navigation screens are eas to follow even if you have not used a tomtom before an it can also be used in yor car if you decide to take that insted of the bike. so overall a good product.

- well considering many tomtoms now used in cars a much smaller it is a little on the big side, and as one has to take it with him when he leaves his bike it would help if it was a little smaller.

+ Good size and easy to use free updates from Tom tom Home. I used it in the car with the car mount(this is an extra and has a built in speaker no need for blue tooth) I used with the car charger.Compered to my other sat nav it is so accurate when at 70mph if it says you are going over a river for instance you will be it up-dates so fast. Not used it on the bike yet, but i have friends who have them on there bikes and rave over it

- The only bad point is that you have no way of knowing if it is charging unless you go out of the map screen as it has no charging light

- Still over priced compared to car systems. Not as glove friendly as garmin system.

+ Easy to use and very reliable. The spoken instructions are extremely clear and the display is simple yet informative.

- On / Off switch requires quite a lot of pressure to operate and is not easy to use when the unit is in it's mount or with a gloved hand

+ i'm a courier so i'm pretty much using it all day in all weathers, never let me down, the headset works great as well as your phone works through it as well and you can make a call through the tom-tom.

- only thing i can think of is alot of vibration goes through the mounting, i dont know if after a while it gets fatigued but I've done 5,000 on it in 3 weeks and had no probs.
