Elaine, Bedford , “Occasional user”
Score 5.0/10+ Clear screen with clear figures and good colouring
- I have used it a few times since purchasing and the sound has just disappeared whilst driiving but the thing that I find most frustrating is the very bad instruction booklet given with the product. Having never used a satnav before I found the instruction leaflet absolutely useless and had to rely on working it out for myself by trial and error. Friends who have purchased a Garmin satnav have told me I should have purchased one of those and not the TomTom and I am beginning to agree with them!

Expert reviews for TomTom One V4 UK & Republic of Ireland
TechRadar expert review
TomTom's One v4 is the company's entry-level satellite navigation device, shunning such features as Bluetooth or real-time traffic updates in order to keep the price down. That said, it's still one of the most expensive entry-level units we've seen. Unlike some of its budget rivals, however, corners haven't been cut on quality. The plastics are tough and the device is compact, making it feel every bit as strong as units costing twice as much. The square 3.5-inch touchscreen display is a lot smaller than you'll find on most of the latest sat-navs, but we didn't find this to be an issue.…
