Thomas And Friends Starter Set

+ The train set is fun to build with your child and as the child develops the set can be expanded.
I bought this for a friends child as my son already has it and we have bought bits as we`ve gone on. My son plays with it for hours now. i would also describe the set as robust.

- Each time further equipment is purchased you get another Thomas train.

+ easy assembly of track etc

- very hard to seperate engine to put in batteries

+ It is so easy for a my three year old to set up. It can be added to in terms of additional track and trains. This particular set is lovely to pack away and take on trips to keep my son occupied. It is also a toy for sharing as well as playing alone. I think its so lovely I have bought my five nephew/nieces one each for christmas.......

- my son has a love hate relationship with this toy he plays with it for about an hour and then gets the hump and throws it up in the air but im not sure why ;-) he gets a bit frustrated with it!
