Score 9.0/10+ Easy to use and easy assembly
- Alot heavier than expected and also larger (however the dimensions are stated on description). Uses batterys and there is not an off switch so they are constantly in use

Score 9.0/10+ For the price I paid, this is an extremely good, extremely quiet cross trainer. It does have 'wheels' on the rear so can be lifted from the front and moved, but mine lives in my front room (means I use it every day). A range of settings, will tell you the average speed (km/hr), revolutions per minute, distance travelled (km), calories burned, time (either remaining or done depending on the program selected) and has a heart rate monitor on the static handles. Its magnetic resistance on the dial (on the upright handlebar) and it can be switched mid-workout. Building it took me 45 minutes, the instructions are pretty self explanatory. I love this machine and its the best investment for my time than a gym membership. Colour is silver and grey - great for the modern style house!
- As with all machines with moving parts its worth checking the screws and bolts occasionally. Its not a bad point - things DO work loose after time, but some people I have noticed complain about it (not just on this machine I might add) - I'm just saying, keep the tools and visit it once a week / fortnight and everything will work fine.

Score 7.0/10+ The trainer is very easy to use and I thought it was great value for money. I use it on the highest setting and feel that it does provide a good workout, using it for 30 minutes 5 times a week has definitely improved my fitness level. It is pretty solidly constructed and provided you use it properly it feels pretty stable. I think as an entry level piece of equipment it is pretty effective but if you wanted to do serious training (more than 30 minutes per day, for example) you might need to purchase something a bit more robust.
- It was a bit of a struggle to put together - I would say you really need two people for bits. Once I had put it together it was a little larger than I had envisaged and taking it apart to store it would be a real chore. It does seem well constructed but tends to squeak a bit. I also feel that if you were alot heavier or lighter than I am (about 140lb) it might not feel very stable while you use it as it does occasionally rock a little bit.

Margaret, Huddersfield , “small, older woman”
Score 9.0/10+ Bigger and sturdier than the price and picture suggests, easy to use, though I haven't used the programmes yet. Building instructions clear, with components numbered and shrink-wrapped onto a cardboard sheet. Up and working in 2 hrs.
- The computer operating instructions were not clear. Building could be beyond a small or older woman - in which case, a man is definitely required to tighten bolts and move into position. Small gash in flywheel cover, but which did not impede its use.

Score 7.0/10+ Easy to use. Quick and easy to adjust settings. Large, clear screen to show exercise progress. Clear instructions to assemble. Good value for the money paid.
- Assembly is ok, however some parts are difficult when putting together. Pedals can become loose when exercising so need tightening up now and then.

Score 6.0/10+ Provides a decent work-out; smooth operation; compact
- Not exactly quick to construct; dubious build quality (screws need tightening after almost every use)

Anne, Haverfordwest , “Someone who hates exercise!”
Score 9.0/10+ Even I can use it, who never does any exercise, and can feel the benefits of using it just for 20 minutes a day!
- The only bad pints I can see are having to build it yourself - the catch inside that appears to make the wire taut would not join up - and having the space to leave it out so that you can use it on a regular basis.
