Score 10.0/10+ The iron is so light you can iron for hours and not notice. The water tank has enough storage for water so your not refilling every 10 mins or so. Good jet of steam to make ironing really easy and enjoyable even for those who dislike ironing
- The pipe supplied for descaling is not much use, i just undo the plug and give the iron a good shake while warm, i find that this expels more scale than the stated method.

Score 10.0/10+ I love the locking feature, makes it so much easier to carry. The storage of lead & plug also make overall storage better. The water level can be seen at a glance

This is an excellent product. I think the benefits outweigh the size and weight of this product.
It is priced towards the higher end of the steam generator range, so appears a bit pricy at first, but if you are willing to pay a few extra pennies for an easier life, you will be really surprised at how much time and effort you can save using this is the iron, so it is worth every penny in the long run.
I spend half the time I used to dealing with difficult items such as linen, trousers and shirts. The ironed items come out perfect, no burns, well pressed and even looking brand new. I have even started to enjoy roning my quilt covers again.
The large water resovoir delivers constant steam for almost the whole ironing pile. You never have to stop and fill it up in mid flow.
The steam jets are powerful enough to go through two layers of fabric and are generated using ordinary tap water.
It is easy to use and to fill with water, if you use something like a jug or empty water bottle.
I tend to have the bulky steam unit on the floor under my ironing table for safety reasons and use the iron like I used to use my regular iron on the board itself, as the steam delivery lead is well long enough to stretch up to the board and to use normally.
I have been very pleased with the product and would not go back to using a regular iron now as the results are not only faster but far superior.
-
The steam generating base unit is bulky and very heavy. It is not advisable to balance it on your ironing board at all as I think if it fell off it could break or even hurt your feet! It works well on the floor under the board though with no problems at all.
The steam tube to the iron can get a bit hot, not a problem for me but could be for a toddler. However, if you are careful with the iron and think about safety, it is an excellent product.
The pumping of the steam can get a bit noisy, but you stop noticing it after a while.
The filling of the water resovoir requires a bit of thought and the use of your own jug or water bottle. The base unit is far too heavy to put directly under a tap without a balancing act.
It is a large item and needs storage space in a big cupboard or larger shelf.

Score 10.0/10+ It is extremely efficient and makes ironing a lot easier and is easy to use
- The water container is a bit flimsy and it is easy to over fill it and cause a bit of a mess on the floor, also when carrying it you have to be careful not to tip it forward or water goes all over the place. These are minor complaints and you soon adapt and I would not suggest anyone be put off buying the iron because of this.
