I haven't had a steam iron for a while as I use a steam press because of an injury to my shoulder, but felt I needed an iron for the little awkward items.
I have found the iron light for me and irons beautifully, feel the control sometimes a little difficult to turn as its near the handel rather than central. Need to fill water often, but guess that's as I end up doing all my ironing instead of the few items intended, which proves I am comfortable using it. - Bad points:

Temperature is easily controlled by moving a dial.
Steam setting is easy to control.
Iron has recess to wind cable up after use.
Ceramic soleplate glides easily over clothes etc. - Bad points:
- Easy to overfill with water. It is unclear what level to fill it with when filling it vertically. You have to put it down horizontally to find out. There is a fill line to show the maximum water level but it is at a different angle from the water, again making it unclear what the correct level is.

- Very powerful steamer, removes any creases. Easy to clean base. Easily refilled. Quick to heat, quick to cool to gentler setting. Flex has a 'ball joint' type fixture so it keeps out of the way.
