+ Very quick, easy, stylish and practical.

- Water never actually BOILS, so if you are making something which needs the water to be at boiling point, you have to do it some other way - so haven't thrown away the old kettle. Capacity is not quite as big as I would like.

- Noisy It would be helpful if there was some indication of when it is going to stop. If you pree the button to manually stop it at just the wrong moment it starts again and the cup overflows. Would be useful if it came with a tray to catch any drips / overflows.

+ There is always hot water available immediately - no waiting for a kettle to boil first - AND the water is filtered. My husband cares for my friend's child and when a child wants its bottle this is the fastest way to make a perfect bottle of milk - one third hot water and top with the cold water - perfect temperature for babies bottles. When friends pop in you can offer them a cuppa within seconds. Wonderful is one way of discribing the product.

- The only "bad" point is that the "tank" is a little too small - if it was double the size then I would be more than happy.

+ Very happy - tea tastes slightly different from making with boiling water in a pot, but once you get used to it (3-4 cups) it is fine to our tastes. Useful for cooking as well when boiling water required it is easier and quicker than a kettle and of course the main benefit is that it is cheaper.

- None that are really bad, occasional scummy bubbles on top of a mug of tea, but easily removed once the tea bag is taken out.

+ I absolutely love it! So much so that we bought a second one to use at work. It,s SO much quicker than waiting for the kettle to boil - that,s been relagated to a cupboard. It also heats the water enough to do cup-a-soups and gravies and sauces etc. and I really like the idea of energy saving. I have recommended it to all my friends and family.

+ Extremely easy to set up and use. gives you filtered hot and cold water on demand. no power waste due to unit only operating for the amount of water needed as opposed to heating up the whole kettle for one small bit of hot water. Water measure is perfect for the average 250ml mug.

- The only bad point that I've found is that it is very noisy. The manufacturers should definatelly invest in a much quiter pump.

+ Very quick cuppa and light weight water canister to fil. The water is kept out of the reach of children as you dont move the boiling water anywhere as it sits at the back of the worktop, you only move the empty canister to fill with cold water. I love it...

- I dont think the water is as hot as boiling from a kettle but its hot and ready to drink so ideal for children and the elderly as it lowers the risk of scolding. The filters can be expensive dependant on where you get it from and the hardness of the water in your area. Overall a very good product though...

- It tends to vibrate a bit on the worktop and so moves backwards. We've had to stand it on an upturned dish so that we can fit mugs underneath it.
