+ VERY GOOD PICTURE AND SOUND.

- THE ON/OFF SWITCH PLACED DOWN THE SIDE AS IT IS IN AN ALCOVE WHICH MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN THE TV OFF, WE HAVE TO USE THE STANBY BUTTON TO TURN IT OFF.

- I haven't come across any bad points. When I read the feedback from others before I bought mine I noticed that a lot of people didn't like the fact that you need to turn the set off at the power point to get rid of the stand by light. I really don't think that it is a problem.

- You cannot switch the TV off without un plugging it - The TV is always therefore on standby - using electrricity-I am very disappointed in this, and would have asked for my money back if possible becasue I believe that this is a design fault in an age where we need to be environmentally aware. + The TV is a fraction of the cost of most tv's of this size, it was a Birthday Present for our Daughter and she was over the moon with it

+ For the price its an excellent purchase - setup was easy, and compared to a lot of LCD televisions the clarity of some "normal" channels like BBC is very good

- However, the image does suffer when it comes to high speed movement - there is obvious blurring. Even more so when playing on video games. There is no VGA input like the next model up, and as the TV only has a 50Hz refresh rate, i havent been able to connect my PC up via the S-video nor composite inputs (not confirmed but i believe it to be down to the PC graphics card only offering 60Hz and above)

- always on stand bye, blue light is very bright, has i have sky and don`t need to tune it in, the problem is that everytime i turn tv on i have to select av buttom then scroll down down to hdmi before i get my channel (sky) so i have to pay for freeview aerail to sort the channels out which is defeating the all point of having sky.that`s why overall rating is low.

+ Beautifully clear and sharp picture - easy to set up

- On/Off, program and volume buttons down the side are surface smooth and touch sensitive so do not stand out therefore extremely difficult to see especially for those with poor eye sight or the elderly. This set was bought as a replacement for a 79 year old and although the picture is great, we have had to stick white stickers all down the side of the set so she can see where the 'buttons' are. Not good at any price

- Blue standby light is annoying so we've got into the habit of turning it off at the plug, which I guess is environmentally friendlier than leaving it on standby!

- picture quality good but colour seems a bit light, have tried to tone it down but it didn't really work, but this doesn't spoil watching it.

- I bought a techinika 26 inch about 18 months ago and it had manual controls on top of the tv of which i thought was good but this tv has no manual controls on it and soly relies on the remote control so for that reason im not happy with the product

+ Love the look of it, picture and sound are pretty good.

- There is no off switch, so I have to lean over my TV to turn it off! It takes too long for the picture to materialise after switching it on. I don't like the layout of the TV guide and you lose all sound and picture when using it.

- Every time the TV is switched on the volume is way too high and has to be turned down a considerable amount. Very annoying.

- Built in Freeview does not enable good quality recording using our dvd recorder. Therefore still need to use separate freeview box to record from.
