+ Versatile single box for most uses. Looks good and DAB radio is excellent.

- Takes an age to boot up and only certain types of WMA and MP3 music are playable. Impossible to navigate tracks on a USB flash drive without a display screen attached.

+ Very good all rounder and space saving having DAB/FM/CD/DVD player in a small box.
Sound will be reliant on what quality of speaker you have or buy.

- Not all DVD's are able to play or be read - believed to be the USA version of some.
DAB aerial not long enough and regularly get 'no signal' and this sometimes is resolved by re-scanning.

+ Really good sound quality

- Expensive - ipod docking station is ugly/akward - the wire goes under the unit, should be part of it

+ Easy to use. Plays DVD's, CD's and upscales DVD's

- Only 1 phono connection and no remote control of ipod . Also preset base and trebble options - prefer manual control

+ Compact and neat, good sound and DVD player. Loud enough for a large room.

- limited phono connections at the back, can't plug in my ipod + sky box at the same time. Disk draw is fragile and will need to be carefully handled to last.

+ Beautiful sound, looks fab, easy to use and very compact, This is a amazing piece of gear, it has blown my mind and my friends too. Everything else on the market seems pail in comparison.
I am using the soft tweeter Teac Reference 250 LS-H250 speakers as I like the warm, less clinical sound that they give. This combo gives me a more friendly, traditional sound.

- Small dislikes, to be objective. CD loading seems slower than I am used to and the volume steps on the remote are too large making the music too loud or too quiet sometimes. Very deep unit could maybe do with a 90° IEC mains plug. But hey, I forgive these little points as I think I may be in love with this kit. I haven't tried to DVD playback yet.

+ Convenience of all audio and video options in one good sounding device.

- DVDs don't resume playback from previous playbacks.

+ Versatile, looks great, sounds great.

- Only minor - but volume settings can't be pre-set for the alarm call.

- it is not relialable ,therefore returned twice,dab lost settings permanantly 1st and then wouldnt play DVD's

- No instructions regarding need to connect via Scart so that settings can be changed to enable HDMI. Frustrating !

- Flimsy CD tray, you need the TV on to try and read the tracks being played off of the USB. The unit does not appear to show the tracks on its display

+ Great for a bedroom or kitchen where you don't want lots of boxes, but want a nice sound/picture in one box.

+ The main reason I bought this was the fact that it works as a full hi-fi in a small box, including a DVD player (and therefore home 'theatre'). I can also connect my IPOD and TV/SKY to it. It does all I want and is easy to use and navigate through the features. The case it metal and very solid and a lot better than some of the plastic models for the same or more cost.

- None really but the only two irritating things were the length of the case (although a small 'face' it does stretch back a way to get all those features in which made it difficult to shut the door on my cabinet easilly. Also it doesnt have a scart input despite the DVD so to get my SKY tv coming out of the speakers I've had to rig up a simple lead to convert from scart to red/white sound leads. Not a major problem.

+ Decent enough "all in one box" solution to DVD / CD playing. The "loudness" function for low volume CD playing (which I'd never use on a seperates hi-fi) works particularly well. Construction seems solid enough.

- DVD / CD tray is as flimsy as other reviews suggest. Speaker terminals are a bit naff - they don't accomodate thicker speaker cable and you so it is difficult to bi-wire from them.

+ Covers everything that I wanted although looks are a bit functional (not necessarily a bad thing). Appears to be excellent value for the functionality and performance.
