+ The mointor screen is a good size and the picture quality is good (think CCTV/webcam rather than TV), colour when the baby's room is light and black and white in darkness. The screen can be turned off just leaving sound. The sound quality is good and can be turned up or down or off. The signal strength is good, occasionally going out of range if it has to get through too many walls, but worked well 100m away from baby's room while I was in the garden on the same side as baby's window. I haven't noticed any interference I presume because it's digital? Battery life of monitor is OK, lasts longer when screen is off, I have it with me during daytime naps and plug it in to charge each evening. Has a 1x zoom which is handy either if I want to have a closer look or if I've left baby further away to sleep. You can move the camera from the monitor which is also useful. I'm very pleased with this product and can see it being useful long term in playroom etc.

The camera shines a green LED light on the baby so room is not complete darkness although this does not seem to bother her. The camera, although very quiet, does make a slight sound as it turns, not enough to wake baby but if she's awake she turns to look at it. If the sound is turned up high on the monitor, it makes a buzzing noise (I just have it turned down if its next to me). I personally think it would be handy if there was a clock displayed on the screen.

+ This product was so easy to set up it worked first time. We have not experienced any interference. Great picture quality also. Mobile monitor is very handy.
