Good points:: Excellent bit of equipment. Only have had it three days but I love it. It's beautiful appearance is a bonus in my kitchen and cooked in oven last night for first time. Perfect result plus I loved the fact that I could clearly watch my meal cooking throughout . Was like

watching it in a shop window. I still haven't checked out all that it can do but I know it will b better than I have expected. The two main ovens are large enough cocoon my meals when I have the whole family here without juggling things around and I've also the choiced of the grill doubling up as oven when I'm herece on my own or just a few of us. Its a sturdy piece of eq
uipment with a s
atisfying clunk when closing doors. So glad I didn't go for cheaper options.
Bad points:: None as yet. If I were to be ultra picky the sound of flame when gas ring is on is a bit noisey compared to my last cooker and having to hold knob in for so many seconds before remains ignited takes getting used to. I keep letting go too soon and having to reignite. Minor seething problem but as I said minor and just a seething problem.

Good points:: Heats up really quickly and definitely gets hotter than my last cooker (Rangemaster Elan). Love having the slow cooker/warming oven for keeping dishes/plates warm
Bad points:: Unlike the solid door Rangemaster Elan you have to keep the glass clean to look its best and the mirrored doors show sticky fingerprints!

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Convection (or fan) ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time. Multifunction (convection or conventional) ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. They usually have both fan and conventional settings as well as pizza settings that will only cook from the bottom, giving you a crispy pizza, or top-only cooking that is very useful for browning.

Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
