+ I have a 3 hour train journey every Monday and Friday and never hear the same tune twice unless I choose to.
Really easy to download music and to organise it.

- Should be sold with a mains adaptor as not always convenient to charge from computer

+ This is brilliant, perfect for my parents 65th birhtday present, MUCH better than my ipod-which I only bought because noone else makes a green mp3 player. I'm getting a Sony when my ipod dies, the Sony is the best thing I have ever used. AND it has a radio! The sound is great, it works through their laptop so they can use it on their boat. The buttons are really user friendly and the screen is so clear and easy to read. I love it!

- Not as sexy as an ipod. Drag and drop function not always relaible, can lose tracks randomly. Sony supplied software reliable but clunky.

- Drag and drop doesn't always work. I ended up with double of everything on the player as the media manager didn't show the files correctly

+ nice and sleek and is not bulky unlike other mp4 players.The sound quality is excellent even when your in a noisy background such as the train station or in a bus.
I like the oppurtunity to watch bbc iplayer shows and also because its battery last much longer than the 40hours advertised

+ I liked the colour. Have only ripped C/D's so don't know how easy it would be to download songs from the internet

- I could not get the Radio Station I normally listen to as the quality was too crackly and bad

+ I'm probably the least technically minded person ever and admittedly I had my husband set it up for me... but it is very easy to use and I would recommend it as a product.

- Nothing really, but being extremly pedantic the sound just occasionally goes a little off.

+ Very quick and easy to use compared to other previous mp3 players I have had. It's well worth buying a compatable leather case for it to protect it from scratches,etc. These are easy to find on the internet through sites like Amazon.

- The supplied headphones are a bit tinny so suggest upgrading to more expensive 'in-ear' headphones or whatever you find comfortable. Also the player sometimes get confused with songs downloaded from the internet and will create separate files for each even if from the same cd. Apart from that it's a great mp4 player.

- Will not fit alot of docks and if a connection could be made that would enable this product to fit onto an ipod dock then i would not now be looking to upgrade to an ipod.

+ Very long battery life. Great now I have found the lock switch on side!!

- When using the shuffle, it always plays the same songs in the same order.

+ It's the first time I have used one of these and I am very pleased with the whole idea. so easy to carry
around and good sound.

- The ear speakers are not comfortable so I have to use proper head phones. It improves the sound
but defeats the object as far as compactness is concerned.

+ The player is very compact & easy to use, with very good sound quality. I have not experienced any skippings of tracks (which was an occasional problem with my Ipod).
I especially like the combination of the radio and mp3 functions, and the battery life is very good.

- The only downside I can think of is perhaps the inclusion of an FM Tuner for the radio rather than a DAB version, but I have had absolutely no problems with the product player-wise.

- Need to have a manual instead of downloading the information on the internet as it's easier to flick through a manual instead of looking online.
Also, still haven't understand the instructions for the video and therefore I don't have any on my sony mp3, a bit disappointed about it.

+ Attractive to look at, and it doesn't take up much room in my handbag.

- Haven't found any yet, and am confident that I won't with Sony's reputation.
