+ Excellent sound quality. Small size.

- 8GB storage is too small

+ stylish - good size - good screen - can search songs by artist, album, genre or rating - make your own playlists - good picture / video quality - earphone cable extension

- make sure you put it on hold when its in your bag or it will turn on and drain the battery

+ Good sound, Easy to use; Convenient size, Capacity is fantistic;

- Earphones do not stay in place, they slip out of ear;

+ Plug n Play, excellent screen, great battery life, premium headphones with fantastic quality, easy to use and get to grips with.

- Fast forwarding is too slow.

+ It's all you need when going on holiday at or the gym easy to use excellent value for money.

+ This is a good looking, slim, light player. Sound quality is excellent and the headphones (after getting used to the new style) are great at blocking out external sound. The screen is huge for the size of the player and again quality is stunning. Its' simple to use menu system means anyone can work it. And after owning a 1GB player I am extatic about the amount of music, photos and videos this can store!

- It needs a pouch of some kind to keep it safe, this was not included but can be purchased as an extra. The headphone port could do with being relocated to the left side as it gets in the way slightly when you hold it. The software is the only real let down, its not an easy system to use; over complicated and confusing compared to the product.

+ Small compact and holds a lot. With a set of phones such as Sennhesier the sound is fantastic!

- Can only be charged via a USB port. Long -distance travel travel away from your USB port means leaving the walkman at home. Doesn't shuffle enough - there are some tracks which I have not heard and others I have heard four or five times. Doesn't accept tracks from iTunes.

+ Sound quality is by none the best you can get. Compared to the ipod, it is far superior. Ease of use is also up there, the 2" QVA (240x320 pixels) LCD screen display is also impressive. Colours are deep and vivid, and all without a single dead pixel to be seen.

- Honestly there is only 1, that would be the battery life, this especially when playing your music at a high kbps. As it states if you play your music at 192kbps it will last for 28hrs, but if your like me and want the best quality, then if you play your music at 352kbps it will last for about 8hrs. But as I've said that's all I can really mention about the bad.

+ The sound quality is far superior to ipods, as you would expect from Sony.The provided earphones are also of a better quality than expected.Easy to use and not overburdened with unnesessary gimmicks.It does the basics very well at a reasonable price.

- A bit of a clunky design but in the end my preference is for substance over style.
