+ I like the design, it's easy to setup and start using without any hassle.

- On the down side it's little on the heavy side and the battery life could be better.

- I have not found any bad points yet. I have not been very mobile with laptop so I am unable to comment on the battery life as it is plug in at the mains most of the time.

+ I love the design and colour, I love the key pad and most of all I love the screen with its clarity and brightness.
I am very glad I bought it - I should have bought it ages ago - and would be very keen to recommend this laptop. About the battery life - I scored it 10 but I do not knoe as I 've never had occasion to test it. i scored 10 because your questionnaire provides no opportunity for 'don't know' a real weakness in the compilation of any questionnaire!

+ Its much faster when using internet compared to my old compaq laptop (using the exact same internet connection)
The built in webcam is easy to use,

+ I definately like the color of my laptop, and the perfomance is very good. And since I use my laptop for Uni work it is very efficient and portable.

+ The appearance of the laptop itself is a great feature and a great appeal to almost everyone who are into modern technology. The screen is also vivid and you can do praticlally everything with, from studying to browsing the web for some entertainment. I love the laptop!

- The current laptop i have is big and sometimes i have difficulty to take it with to places, so i only wish it was a little light weight!

+ As a general purpose laptop it is excellent, it was bought for my daughter and she is very pleased with it as it does everthing she wants it to do, the built qulity is excellent. I got Tesco's 3 year warrenty with it so should anything go wrong it will be repaired. Also I intend to take advantage of the Windows 7 upgrade offer from Sony.

+ Looks good and as my last laptop was 4 years old is very fast and responsive. The screen is also really bright and overall I am very happy with the product. I have not used the machine away from the mains yet so my battery mark is a guess!

- A bit big to carry around if you're constantly on the move with it but I just tend to keep at home so doesn't affect me.

- i am very disappointed with sony viao laptops. i purchased first one last year and second one now...but i thought maybe thre is some problem in the first laptop and i wouldn't face the same in second one. unfortunately i was wrong in my opinion. the worsed problem i am facing is typing error. no matter what you are typing all of the sudden, curser moves somewhere else and you start typing in the previous paragraph or lines which u also have completed. otherwise even if you are typing a single word you have to be very concious. always have to keep an eye on the screen which is not acceptable. i never ever recommend SONY VIAO to any body in future.

- as always with laptops...the battery runs low too quickly, and the keys look worn too quicky..they lose their dull finnish and go shiny...eeech hate that!

+ The design is very sleek and stylish. The screen offers excellent quality and a precise view. Performance is very strong and battery life is good, you can get over 2 hours on high performance.

- Would like a greater number of shortcut buttons above the keyboard, only a mute button and a AV Mode button.

+ Ease of use, particularly compatibility with other products such as cybershot camera. Excellent quality screen and love the slide show feature on the desktop.
