+ Looks Good, is light to carry, works well and definately pleased that we bought it

+ Many. Excellent laptop

- I would have preferred usb ports to be at the back as cables for printer and speakers are obtrusive

+ design, compatibility, easy access, simplicity

- a bit heavier than what I would have expected

+ Good design, extremely clear screen,

- Quite heavy, would expect better sound from Sony, but not bad for a laptop

+ The computer was very easy to set up as soon as I got it out of the box. The design is slim, good looking and light in comparrison to my last laptop. The keyboard was a bit tricky to start off with as I pressed a button and started to type in both numbers and letters and did not know how to turn it off and could not find a manuel link to help. Apart from this the keyboard is easy to use, the screen bright and easy to clean and it was well worth the money. The wifi picked up my wireless system straight away.

- The battery life is not too great and could be better. I tend to use the computer plugged in. Apart from that no real bad points.

+ An excellent laptop for a great price. Much longer battery life than HP, Acer and Toshiba - I got 3.25 hours from one battery charge. Of course as the battery gets older this time may reduce.

- Screen goes noticably lighter from top to bottom.

+ Everything about this laptop is very good .It has great sharp performance, good looking colour and design and it even has more than two selection ports for usb and a memory card slot wich i think come in very handy.

- My only concern about this laptop is the battery life which i have come to realize that it goes down very fast, everything about this product has been a great job but it is just the battery that really lets it down because it doesnt help when you are trying to get some work done or if you want to watch a movie.

- Battery life is bad - only 1-2hrs and goes without any warning (apart from flashing up you hvae 30mins left)

- a little bit on the heavy side but overall am impressed.

- Battery life is rather disappointing, especially for a Sony. Touch-pad rather too sensitive at times, and the 'scroll' facility can be a bit 'hit and miss'.

+ good value for money, this is second one we have bought, our daughter has had one for nearly two years, used every day and had no problems.

- battery life is very short, approx two hours at most which is not good if you are away from a charger.

+ Purchased for a 11 year-old who has just started secondary school. We have found it to be very suitable for the purpose. It is certainly not the smallest, thinnest or lightest model out there but for the purpose we bought it for it is well specified from a name you know you should be able to trust.

- Besides the aformentioned weight and size issues there are not too many other faults. I expect for alll the techy nerds out there are a cataologue of issues regarding both the hardware and software, but for us mere mortals this did what we wanted to. Only time will tell if relaibility is good, and if I still hold the same opinions in the coming months/years.
