Good points:
Good 3D results for the price
Bad points:
Dismal battery performance in 3D setting.
No option to pause shooting to make one continuous movie.
Can't join movies together using bloggie software.
The microphones pick up a lot of noise pollution like wind/breathing.
The light on it is inefficient.
Not waterproof.

Good points:
For the price this is a very good little 3d camcorder.
Bad points:
Not too happy with the software. It would be nice to be able to watch all of my clips in one movie rather than having to keep selecting them one at a time (that's the only reason I didn't give this an overall 10/10).

Jason, POOLE Keen amateur

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Amazing performance considering size and price.
Standard 3D recording format allows near instant playback on my LG passive set (via blu-ray player using DLNA).
3D still shooting usefully also generates a 2D .jpg
Performs well in the dark.
Very easy to use with many embedded auto features.
Bad points:
Viewing what you're recording is close to hopeless in bright light.
Supplied 'bloggie' software is pretty useless and isn't really required.
As with many camcorders wind noise is quite a problem (an attachable muffler would be really neat)

David, Keen amateur

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Ease of use. Simple and clear. Excellent images.
Bad points:
The 3D is good but it can't be downloaded to show in 3D in another format. The software doesn't download properly on my computer. There's an upgrade or patch which the website indicates ought to be download for proper use but it won't download! Have tried several times without success. There's a glitch in the software which Sony clearly know about as they tell you about the 'patch'.
