Good points:: Its rare you get excellent blacks outside plasma sets but that is where this set shines because of its full-array backlit (note: note edge-lit) approach. Its as close as it can get to plasmas, I would recommended it anytime over the hx853s
Bad points:: menu system could be a bit more polished, as for DLNA and file support, please note .mkv files and few others are not supported, but there are work arounds available.

Good points:: HD stuff is very good, normal sd or under can be weak
Bad points:: Some Sony centres give the sound bar for free some charge!! So much info on Internet regarding full array tvs and the early sony hx9 had some faults so far I have had 2/5 screens flash where it goes black otherwise okay so far. You get black screens not so good even though its a full array tv, it should be the best, so scenes look very dirty and some lines look very weird, if you see someone wearing a jumper with multiply lines on it then the LCD looks like its moving can be annoying. I never got this on my Panasonic plasma.
