+ It's a compact and neat phone which feels good to hold. The battery life is excellent as is the sound for such a small object.

+ Easy to use and navigate. Picture quality of the camera is good and face recognition feature etc function well and it has a reasonably large screen whilst remaining light. A good budget option.

- Buttons are tight - ok for me but users with larger digits might struggle. Battery life seems poor and there is a long delay before the shutter operates on the camera which makes it difficult to capture people well.

+ Maybe I've just been living in the past with my K750i, but this phone is a huge advancement for me and I'm very pleased with it. The cybershot features are particularly good and texting is greatly improved with the Conversation feature: your texts and subsequent replies are kept in one long list so you don't have to flick between inbox and sent items to work out what was said earlier. Snazzy design, good media features, and plenty of internet apps that I'm not really getting the most out of because I don't want to pay extra for 3G

- One major oversight is the lack of a torch feature; on my last phone the camera flash doubled as a handy light. It was a really practical feature and it seems silly to leave it out. Also the keypad buttons are a little on the small side so possibly not one for the chubby fingered. And if I was going to be really picky I would say on the organiser it's not quite as clear which days have appointments on them (they're displayed in bold on the calendar) compared to the K750i, but I pretty much organise my whole life on my phone so if you don't use it then it won't be a big deal.

- Cannot edit the right navigation button meaning you accidently connect to the internet. The back button then becomes the internet connection button, again meaning you keep being connected to the internet. If i was cynical i would think this is deliberate to charge customers extra money for nothing.

+ sleek design, easy to use, camera operates by sliding panel open to reveal lens - which puts phone into camera mode without having to use a menu.

+ The phone is lightweight and looks good. The screen is large and easy to see what you are doing. The battery life is also very good.

- Sometimes the navigation keys seem to take a few more seconds than normal to process what you want to do i.e if you are wanting to go back, you press back but nothing happens for a few moments, which can be annoying and slow.

- the keypad is quite compact I imagine someone with large hands may find it difficult to hit correct key. Unfortunately after approximately 30seconds of being immersed in water it has stopped working completely, only used it for about 3 weeks.

+ i think the c 510 is a really easy phone to use and it dose everything you would expect from a phone its really good to use and the key pad fits your fingers just right

- the bad points about this phone well i havnt had or found any as yet

+ the screen is very good, displaying with good detail. because of the detail, in texts you get a lot of the text displayed at one glance. when it is on stand-by (or it is locked), without having to unlock it displays any missed calls and the first line of any texts/emails received (however, if guarding privacy this could also be a disadvantage!)

- if it falls, the screen get scratched very quickly as there is no protection and it is flush with the surrounds.
you MUST have a case for it to protect it so it lasts a bit longer without getting scratched/damaged

+ Overall I find this a very good product...it is easy to use...good integrated memory...good sized screen...I would recommend this to a friend.

- Not really got any bad points apart from if I could choose I would like to purchase it in a 'flip' variety...I feel this prevents the screen from becoming scratched.

+ I've had a Sony Ericsson before and have always liked them, I find navigation is intuitive. This phone also looks good and has a good weight and size to it, it fits into the hand nicely.

- The battery runs down quite quite quickly if you are using other features a lot. Texting with the keypad is quite fiddly unless you have quite small fingers.

+ Good phone, that does what it says on the tin. Didn't need anything fancy so is ideal for me. Radio is great and listen to it a far bit while working etc

- Battery life is short, needs charging at least every other day. Keys abit fiddley, especially when texting.
