Good points:: Superb video and great zoom.
Small and compact.
Just a great little camera.
Bad points:: Some pictures appear gold fish bowl (round at the edges) :(
GPS uses a lot of battery.
Need to take off tripod to mains power.
Zoom lens seems a bit fragile.
Zoom can be a bit slow to respond.

Good points:: 1) sharp (still) pictures at day time/strong light.
2) high quality of video at all time - day & night, and at all range of lens (this is the best point of this camera).
3) built-in GPS, and 3D & panorama pictures.
4) accept SD card as well as Pro Duo card.

In general, I like this camera.
Bad points:: 1) poor (still) picture at low light.
2) the W/T lens turning makes noise which can be recorded into the video.
3) the software "PlayMemories Home" is not terribly functional to edit video.
4) The video format M2TS is not very popular, and videos cannot be played back easily. If Sony offers options of M2TS and MPG4, AVI, ...it will be much better, just like what Sony did - to accept both SD card and Pro Duo card (since the Pro Duo cars is unpopular and more expensive).

Bad points:: GPS picture tagging, bad to send to unit back as it didn't tag any GPS locations, Still only 1 photo in 15 will get a GPS tag.

Good points:: Useful zoom for those who do not want to carry a lense. Mode selection works well. Panarama shots and movies good.
Bad points:: Micro not great. Takes some getting use to holding with left hand and not fowling the flash, or holding and shooting both with right hand which the design seems to imply you should do.

Good points:: Super Zoom, easy quick AF although not as quick as my A65. Handy size and ease of operation
Bad points:: The viewing Screen is vulnerable and definitely requires a protective film. Get one from the start together with a bag. It's worth it.
